None that I can recall and I've used purple and red a lot in the past.

How does all my agar look?
I had to make transfers because there was bacterial contamination on my bisporus plate and mould continuation on my azurescence.

I'm also finding that every time I make no pour agar in the reusable pp5 sauce cups, they're quite wet. I don't put a hole in the side and I use the instant pot for my agar high pressure for 30min.
There is usually no continuation, but they always come out so fkn wet

If you’re working with the same culture, not sterilizing your blade isn’t gonna throw things off. Think of it like this…if you are taking samples from the same mushroom and just putting it to different plates, it is the same culture. What is the difference if you sterilize or not. If you were working with 3 different fruits you were taking cultures from, then I can see to sterilize the blade between each culture so you don’t cross contaminate from one to the other. As far as your cultures, they seem to be growing some transferable myc. I’d let them grow out a bit more and then take some e samples from the leading edge to new plates. For your first plates and transfers, I’d say you did pretty good. Keep up the good work.

You should sterilize after each sample, not just after each culture. Redundancy is a cornerstone of good sterile/aseptic practices.
