paying taxes because the schools and roads in here are crumbling...

i wanted everyone to see what my best two cultures look like on plates.  ive had less experienced growers tell me the fp looks bacterial. 

the gt isnt really rhyzo either.  both of these canopy 100% of the time, and they do it quickly.  i never bother flushing fp more than once it  shrinks the sub so badly.  the gt will flush twice and i get some monsters second flush. 

ropey culture is great to look at and its nice to work with because its easy to spot contam, but its merely growth pattern.  nothing to do with health..  like a boxwood shrub vs a an oak tree. both are technically woody perennials, just vastly different forms.

guys.  confessional thread is a good place to talk about whatever you want but i do genuinely feel that these public fights are something of a contamination in and of themselves.  they arent healthy for our culture.  i encourage everyone to please either take up your grievances directly with whomever the issue is with, inform a mod, or use the ignore feature.  love you all.  have a great day.

Looks as blue in person as any bruising I've ever seen.  Just never seen it on a plate.

Bonus:  Another member's fantastic idea of using UV-C to kill germs.  This is a flood which throws 130* of black light, 24/7. (except when I'm there -- prefer no melanoma) ~30$  I have foil on the far side of my SAB. Criticisms?  Denigrations?  Insults?
