Was on the fence about where this should go. I’ll ask there.

Those are all beautiful.
I've been meaning to start keeping some SM for a little informal collection of oddities.
Mainly because I found a bright green one recently on a clone plate. Procrastination stole it. Next time I looked, the SM was completely swallowed by white cube myc, top to bottom.

I'm sure it's in there somewhere tho. Idk.

Taking my first steps with agar. These look decent right? I took transfers from both of these to another plate, but could these be already okay to use after growing out.

Second plate was tricky to take a picture of, because of the condensation. It’s not as rhizomorphic, but still neat and uniform to my eye.

In my eyes, those both look good to go. The top plate for sure. The bottom is harder to see but I reckon it is just as good.

That bacteria (?) in the back looks like fractal crystals. Anyone know what it is? Maybe it's tripping.

I'm guessing bacteria, but I don't know what flavor.

Is that MOTH sitting between the plates??
Pet? Spirit animal? Trying to pollinate the spores?

Looks like a good vector for contam. haha.

I think that is a Sunn SL260.

Yeah, mycelium that grows way faster than the rest and looks different is an almost sure sign of mold contamination. That's an interesting plate, almost looks raised up at the threshold.

Hope you have the donor plate still.

:winner:

Actually, it's an SL160, but close enough. I love the genius design with the cascading gain stages, and I'm a tube amp guy.

I can't tell if it's a 160 or 260, but I had an A212 in the 80's and it ripped.
