So for second flush, do I just mist the casing down heavy and wait a few hours and pour it off?

Dude that so killer. Really happy to see that you gave these a go.

Will you be sampling?

Ty.  It’s only because of ppl like you and jcm and everyone else that came before (and Mojave for the spores :headbanger:).  I just followed directions.  You guys made it easy.

I definitely plan on it.. I chickened out in semps and ate yeti last weekend lol.  I hadn’t had yeti yet either so I’m making my way through the list.  Semps are next, then the pans

I would suggest making fresh tea and freezing with the pans

Fuck yeah Faht!
And yeah, mist heavy and pour off in an hour or 2 or I just pour 1/2 a cup down the sides and give a light mist 👍

IME they loose a lot of psilocin in drying, so I chop em down, dice them up, and boil them alive for 20min. Strain with cheesecloth, and freeze the tea.
Don’t forget to weigh them first :lolsy:

Anecdotally, 1g dry is similar to 6g fresh. At least of the cyans I grew from ms

I do the same with Gymns for the same reason.
It can be a challenge for storage sometimes but if pans really do lose potency like that then it’s definitely worth undertaking.

They're also easy to dry on low due to the size. I've never tested but that's supposed to preserve actives better too.

Cleaned up my weza * rdu culture.  Now it's under 70f (68f atm) in my tent due to extreme cold outside.  Getting nice coverage and the slowest Pan Cyan pins.  These started knotting four or five days ago.

Oh it's running lol  I even upgraded to a 200 watt.

Snapped some photos for anyone curious what we're talking about.

Subzero temperatures the last few nights.  And trying not to run the space heater because the heating bills have been high.

It will warm up soon lol.  Plus the ttbvi is knotting.  Has been for days.

Nice nice.
Yeah I had my space heater running for a while but now anything outside my tub is in an insulated cooler. Needless to say I don’t have much in fruiting right now. But I am really excited for these bisporus, it’s been a long time coming. I want to say it was an aoi jar spawned 1:3 cv and cased with verm for a week then after it colonized that I threw on some cactus soil (gnats and all) 🤦‍♂️
My daily pic update because :crondance:

Fast and whispy is what you want.

Weza mycelium is a little unusual, I think plate 2 at approximately the 3 to 4 o' clock region (11 o' clock as well possibly) but I can't see these plates properly!

Back light it and take a good look for the most organised fast and whispy stuff and take another transfer, 1 and 3 look a little sketchy to me?

I believe in you! I think these were from me?

Happy to see you here cultivating them regardless

Yes. These are from you I believe.

I took Baba's advice and made some .5% agar and transferred last night. Thank you both.

Panaeolus cyanescens from Peace River, something weird happened. It grew inside the substrate and looks like sclerotia, resembling a strange potato-like thing. It seems to be bruising. I don't know what that is! Any ideas? Has anyone experienced this before? Maybe should put this on agar later.

Thoughts on these MiB plates? These are the T1 from BRF puck inoculated with spore. 6 days after transfer
