When you harvest and are ready to toss this, check the bottom. Might be some growing there too. A thin verm layer on top can help prevent this. So can a liner supposedly, but it didn't here:

MIB in tubs, got a bit of matting/overlay I had to scratch off in the centre to promote pinning but they’re coming through, are the gills normally a reddish pink colour?

I’ve got MiB from Mojave as well that has the reddish gills and exploding upper stipes on some
