I like the bottom one for no real reason at all . Bigger tubs are just easier for me but I'm growing more than most and ain't using jars for spawn

Idk if it this true but does deeper substrate produce bigger fruits? If so, the 50 quart tub would produce bigger fruits, if that's really true.

I'm actually thinking about maybe just getting both of them and see the comparisons

No not really true you can grow monsters on a 2 inch sub or tiny ones on a 4

I've primarily grown in 6qt shoeboxes with 1qt spawn and around 1.5-4" of substrate and have pulled several 100g+ fruits out of them.

I think he's the mod that does those rad sandwich boxes which are basically like suped up pf Tek jars... Or who am I thinking of? Cause I always wanted to try that method and just never got around to it yet...

Or maybe it is bags and I'm confusing who I'm thinking of which is very possible

I think you're thinking about Fahtster's ZIPBLOCK Tek.

And I assume Cronicr is using grain bags instead of jars.

Ive been thinking about taking the plunge. Jars definitely feels like overhandling, but allows for multiple projects without committing a ton of grain to it I guess.

I think you're thinking about Fahtster's ZIPBLOCK Tek.

And I assume Cronicr is using grain bags instead of jars.




I believe he is right. If he is referring to cronicrs container version of the pf tek.  Only difference is the  small pp5 food container instead of a jar.

Lol I've done everyhing ass backwards.  I've never used jars only bags. Kind of been wondering about the jars though but I really like bags i think it's easier too.  yes you lose a lot when it goes bad but you gain a lot when it goes good.
