I find it odd tho, this is the only morchella strain I’ve worked with that have colonized completely white and rhizomorphic like this no other strains have given me this kind of mycelium, normally it’s yellow/brown and less dense

I did some research and it seems like they are a traditional french farm that does some mycology work on the side with some species that are not grown much in the US, inc. truffles and morels. They are one of the few companies that offer LCs from these cultures, that I know of.

I plan to make a lot of agar, take some isolations from their culture and see what you all think. It is right now in a non-descript little tube, but last time just a few drops of their culture took to agar well.

Honestly everything about their culture at first made me skeptical, it was something I bought on etsy from a company I didn't know, and then their culture took so quickly to agar without contamination that I was blown away. That is why I have good hope for this culture, even though it is just a small company.

If it takes off and looks like legit isolated morels, I'll probably make more LC from this culture and try the strategy someone else here posted of soaking elm seeds in LC.
