You said she has stupid ideas so I asked what you mean and instead of anything relevant to this campaign you quote her saying she wanted to fight hate with love with no context around policy.

I'll try to find a snippet or quote from this year to see once and for all if you're biting the hook, haven't been exposed, or legitimately just don't like policies like universal healthcare or what.

If you lose brain cells hearing her speak you probably didn't have any to begin with, but that's why I'll try to find something recent to help illuminate such things.

E.g. a simple message from 2 years ago.


I suppose I can understand the accent stuff. Better than a Texan sound though.

Will look for more recent stuff eventually too.

Her policies are irrelevant because she'll never get more than 0.5% of the vote.  She won't be the D nominee ever but especially not if the current D POTUS is alive and running for reelection.  She knows this but election campaigns are a great way to sell books so here we are.

Based on that obnoxious affect she uses when speaking, I would have guessed her profession as self help guru.  Just what need, another grifter running for president. This is why people won't vote for her.  Doesn't matter policy proposals, a con artist is a con artist.

Kennedy doesn't stand for anything, he doesn't have the same potential to grow with publicity, Marianne does. Hence why she's being snubbed at every chance.

Did you miss the ENTIRE thread of us dunking on how awful a candidate Kennedy is?  The answer to Biden being boring and Trump being a criminal is not a self-help new wave grifter. :shrug:  This woman seems to elicit the same type of cult of personality response from you that Bernie Bros and Maga display towards their idols.  That in and of itself is a disqualifier in my book.  No one is so inspired by Biden that they would storm the capitol, these cult types though...

I loved Bernies policies but he was too paddycakes with Biden and refused to attack him on what would work.

I'm the only one talking about policy, you're all stuck on character things like her accent and that she said fight hate with love. Literally nothing from any of yall against her policies.

What would people be inspired to do by Marriane? Vote and take part in the electoral system, hope for real representation and the same right to universal healthcare every other developed nation has paid into?

Yeah they'll prob up his corpse alright, but Marriane is the only one who'd be a positive change.

A lot can happen in a year and I don't think Biden has much room to go up from here, I think he's just trying to minimise his losses by avoiding debates.

Marianne has no real upside except to her bottom line as a woo-woo book saleswoman.  I have no doubt that she'll sell more books but I promise that she won't win a national election.  I doubt she could win a statewide office in any state.

I think it's fine to doubt if she'll win, and I do too, but if you're going to question the merit of her platform then do it sincerely and in line with policy proposals.

What's one downside to universal healthcare?

She did try for congress one time and came in fourth.
I still say most revolt against the perception (true or not) of people wanting to start at the top.  Not every time but mostly and we see how trump worked out.  People with bigger resumes get popped pretty good as well cause they have baggage that can be pointed out. 

Even Bernie's problem was not what he said but faith in what he could get done.  After trump, boring biden deserves to get another term.  He has did as well as any could expect with the make up of the legislative branch and in my mind deserves to keep it going.  They are going to be running against kamala more then biden probably but had she been the nominee against trump, I would have voted for her and so in my mind nothing has changed. Trump is a traitor and biden and harris are not and believe peoples votes should count and for this time in history, I take no chance voting for them and sending a message to all the traitors.

My goal would not be to bring bidens numbers down like has been suggested might be a good thing.  If that is the belief, it is a mistaken one that does not understand the danger of the opposition.
