Your agar could be too firm. Overly firm agar can sometimes stop spores from germinating.

Also, did you use a loop or just squirt some on there?

I used 2 drops per plate. I inoculated 4 with a loop after dipping in spore solution, though it's only been 2-3 days since. If it helps, the agar was made with 6 g potato flakes, 4 g agar, 2 g corn syrup, 1 cup (236 g) H2O, 2 drops food coloring. 30 min at 15 psi.

Sorry to double post, but I've actually been considering that when doing no pours, because so much more surface area of agar is visible that maybe the normal 30 min at 15 psi is over cooking them?

Glad I'm not the only one with random drops of agar on the lids

Then ruin it with some holes just so you can decide you didn't really need the holes and then tape them over with monkey tape.

Thai Pink Buffalo (T5)

The majority of the T5 plates look like this, but a couple of them have uniform radial growth.

Does this look ready to send to grains?

Here are some of the other plates as mentioned above.

The same culture on 60mm plates.

I'm currently using 4oz glass jars. They work pretty well. I've used them for pour and no pour with success, working in an SAB.
They are smaller than a petri and the bottoms are slightly curved, so not perfect but sturdy and serviceable.
(modified lids are optional)

I use these as well, they're not bad, but not the best either. They can be difficult to see into, as the glass is wavy on mine. Glad or Ziplock PP5 containers are what most seem to be using for no pours.

Yarp, all true. Getting good pics is a bit of a pain with these jars. I look forward to adding more proper gear to my lab.

They're all clean, but are your trying to sector out to a monoculture? If not, they're ready to go.
