About a month ago, I had an FP+ clone plate that looked amazing... I was so excited to inoculate some jars, that I accidentally dropped one on the plate (out of flow) when I was getting my work area ready :facepalm3:

Came out pretty clear with filtered NY broth...

Thanks, I will definately go thinner next time but it's a 1/3 thinner than last time so I'm doing better...

I'm just doing 2-4, 66qt tubs right now so I don't need a whole lot of cups, I just need to have everything staged with "agar2grain" and grain bags and these are my second agar PC cups (POUR style)...

Question, how long can I expect these to last in my cabinets with myc in them or without?

They will dry out, but even then there's good odds of bringing it back to life. Just transfer and let it regrow out. If it was clean, then it should still be clean.

Early on I’ll do two small transfers on the same plate instead of burning a second plate looking for clean myc.

Going forward each transfer gets a single plate. Once it gets to testing.
