Good Timezone all.

This is a TC clone I did on 10/1. I know the pic is not the best, but I like the growth so far. The other clones aren't looking as organized.

Here is some JMF, T2. It looks pretty whispy compared to the T1, but even the T1 took a long time before it filled out more robustly. Is that normal for JMF? Also... two different agar colors have produced the pink color again

Hope the rest of you all are having good luck on your agars!

hey guys  I have some old agar plates that are starting to go pretty dehydrated, should I make the agar I will transfer them next to revive them more watery ? like 0/5 lt water to 8.5 grams of agar instead of my 10g? and even maybe a bit more nutritious? I made some testing transfers a few days ago to my normal recipe and they seem to be in hibernation not seeing anything happening , normally in 3 days at steady 25 C I get a decent growth but normally I dont let the poor things starve and dehydrate :S busy times :frown:

cheers!

I would make a normal batch if those are older plates.  How old are the plates?

When you stored them were they taped/in a bag or tote or in open air. (For my own understanding.)

I think it is better to make the agar normal, and not go too far the other direction.  The new growth will be normal if their environment is normal.  Though I have seen some people do 8g:500ml as their standard mix.

thanks for the insight  I ve already did some normal transfers but 3 days after at 25C I see nothing happening :frown: they where wraped well 2 times around with cling wrap the one for the food, I didnt expect them to go so dry after 1 month outside of the fridge

No I'm going to pc, urine is not sterile lol.

Are mushrooms attracted to/compatible with the ammonia? Plants love it, but shrooms are not plants, so... :justdontknow:

I have no idea, I'm not trying to run this in a serious fashion as if it's a plausible technique, it's probably not going to work; if it does work it will just further confirm that cubes are a resilient organism that can grow in sub optimal environments.

Should mycelium grow in a piss bottle I'll use it as a reference point for whenever someone argues that "their tek is sick bro" because it "works"

Dude, people will think you are serious for many years to come. AI TC's will have an epic battle over how long to PC piss for LC. Same old story.

Very irresponsible of you to doom the world to oblivion like that. All the best wars start with a joke...
