Do you guys beat shit out of LC just once before pouring into jars using media bottles like this tek does? Or do you just gently swirl between jars?
Thanks!

Edited because I'm a dumb ass and totally missed the point of the question.

New answer.

Exactly what He said (below). If it's been swirled enough while colonizing it just takes a gently swirl to get that shit all over. If it wasn't mixed often while colonizing I'd give it a good ass shake before the session and try to break that shit up. Hopefully there is a marble or screw or.... in there to assist in the breaking.

I only reccomend a super shake if ur using umnididied lids that are tight screwed back down. Lids with filters? I'd add a marble/glass or whatnot to break up the clumps during a gentale swirl(not getting filter wet)

When pouring the lc I'll always swirl between recieving jars

I'm using same bottle as you are in this tek, no modifications, all the way tight after i drop agar wedge. Do u see any difference when u just swirl vs super shake, maybe super shake will better distribute myc in LC water?

I have given up on LC for the time being. My sterile procedure has a hole in it somewhere when working with it  I can do a2a, a2g and a2lc just fine. Somewhere between a colonized LC, testing it and knocking up my grains it gets bacterial

I have a box of like 20 half pint lcs that I stopped swirling for like five weeks. I went to pull one to knock up some grain and didn’t look at it but started swirling it on the way to the hood.

When I got there I noticed that now there’s a big circle of myc with mushrooms on it swirling around inside

Really didn’t think it would colonize and fruit that fast for some reason.

Finally a real hydroponic grow.
Ha. Nice. I've had the mats grow on top but never gotten fruit.
AKA, pics or it didn't happen.

I’ve never had anything close to this, but I also jacked up my lme content and added syringe filters so that’s probably why.
