At the end of the day, Bush & Obama were on the same Neocon/Neoliberal team. The only differences are surface-level. Foreign policy wise, they're mirror images of eachother, the only thing that changed was tactics - using proxy terrorists instead of regular soldiers because nobody cares about the life of a jihadist versus a US soldier which has political consequences when too many of them die.

Trump was on his own team - team retard. But it was still his own team nevertheless. And that's why people liked him.

Team retard may have often trended into Neocon territory with his foreign policy, but there were times when it did not.

The problem with Trump is everything was a lie. He didn’t pull troops out of the Middle East. There were more troops in Syria when he left office than when he took office. His entire four years and troop levels in war zones was essentially unchanged, and he put troops into countries where they had never been before like Saudi Arabia.

Okay but both major parties have engaged in voter suppression on multiple occasions, before trump was ever a thing. That’s what I mean when I say the Jan 6 riot wasn’t some huge shift in right wing thought. It’s always been like this.

Yes both parties are guilty of gerrymandering . But what happened the day after the election , everything up to Jan 6 and everything after that and what's happening now is a clear blatant attempt at voting fraud . To me suppression and outright fraud are very different things .

Because your definition of failure is too broad. Those cases were very successful in laying the political groundwork for future election tampering.

Yes. The denial of the clear election results, which instigated and incited the capital riot is something that will be repeated unless we hit these people hard and that includes Trump.
