Starting the Iraq War was pretty damn fucked up, that's for sure. It's hard to top that one

I'm  not sure if I agree with you either , I feel like I'm too pissed off about war history to make rational assessment of current events .

The Ecstatic said:
I know this may pain our liberal friends but the capitol riot was just a bunch of q Anon morons exercising some rage. Motherfuckers stormed the Capitol and all they could think to do was take pictures with cops and trash some offices. There was never a “threat to our democracy.”

Regardless, it’s over. Trump folks don’t wanna turn the page because it’s all they got but Trump being prosecuted by liberal deep state NY state lawyers won’t change their minds. Bush committed far worse crimes than Trump and Obama didn’t do anything about that either. Like I said, nobody in power is going to set the precedent that “people in power face consequences.”

At the end of the day, Bush & Obama were on the same Neocon/Neoliberal team. The only differences are surface-level. Foreign policy wise, they're mirror images of eachother, the only thing that changed was tactics - using proxy terrorists instead of regular soldiers because nobody cares about the life of a jihadist versus a US soldier which has political consequences when too many of them die.

Trump was on his own team - team retard. But it was still his own team nevertheless. And that's why people liked him.

Team retard may have often trended into Neocon territory with his foreign policy, but there were times when it did not.

I dunno if I'd call it Team Retarded as that'd give Trump an explanation for his actions.
Team Loud Mouth or Team Hubris or Team Know All... Team Smart Arse even.
Team How Hard Can It Be To Be U.S. President fits but it's a mouthful.
If he was half as clever as he thought he was he'd be a god damn genius.

The problem with Trump is everything was a lie. He didn’t pull troops out of the Middle East. There were more troops in Syria when he left office than when he took office. His entire four years and troop levels in war zones was essentially unchanged, and he put troops into countries where they had never been before like Saudi Arabia.

It’s amazing how many people, and not just those on the right, see Trump was some dovish figure. Insanity.

I honestly think he had no idea what the job entailed and was completely out of his depth... but hey he didn't let those little details get in the road of his stardom.

This is what his official schedules looked like

President Trump will work from early in the morning until late in the evening. He will make many calls and have many meetings.

More than anything he was lazy

I know. He didn't start any wars and he never spouted rhetoric about "nation building", the latter being one of the only good things I'll ever say about him. But he loved those drones, and so do Americans because then, 'It ain't our boys getting killed.'

Arizona Republicans are testing the election ballots for bamboo because they think ballots were flown in from  China . I know we would all like to blow off Jan 6 as just Trump morons acting out , but this shit is much bigger than that , and it isn't over yet .
Trump is still a threat to our democracy .

Okay but both major parties have engaged in voter suppression on multiple occasions, before trump was ever a thing. That’s what I mean when I say the Jan 6 riot wasn’t some huge shift in right wing thought. It’s always been like this.

Yes both parties are guilty of gerrymandering . But what happened the day after the election , everything up to Jan 6 and everything after that and what's happening now is a clear blatant attempt at voting fraud . To me suppression and outright fraud are very different things .

How is it not obvious and terrifying?
He used a string of election fraud cases that had a 100% fail rate to maintain and solidify his control over the worlds second most powerful political party . How else could you do that after losing the popular vote twice ?
This shit is just getting started , it's far from over .

Because your definition of failure is too broad. Those cases were very successful in laying the political groundwork for future election tampering.

Yes. The denial of the clear election results, which instigated and incited the capital riot is something that will be repeated unless we hit these people hard and that includes Trump.
