That's what that whole book series is about. We're ALL equal parts of "God". There's no satan or hell, etc..
Spirituality NOT religion

I read all of the first and part of the second of those books case they were lying around. Main thing I took out of it was the power of self-definative statements. Besides that I think it boils down to a love/fear conception of human motivation.

I read the first five books five times each. Those books are amazing because you pick up something new each time.

The guy who wrote that book reminds me of the Carlos Castaneda of spirituality. I had the first one. I disposed of it properly. That's the only time I have ever thrown a book away. I even liked the Celestine Prophecy better. Actually I thought the book was okay in between the delusional parts, and there's bits and peices of wisdom in it. Try reading How to Know God, by Deepak Chopra, I think you might enjoy it. It kind of blends many different disciplines into one. Try to look past the fact that Deepak Chopra is a dorky chode. I haven't ever read anything by the Dalai Lama that I disliked......

I'm going to sleep now, but i'm curious to know what parts of the book or ideas that you didn't like.
FYI, I don't take the book as gospil either, but it was very instrumental in forming my current belief system.

Don't get me wrong, I think the beliefs in the book are nice, but I just have a hard time connecting with someone who "god" talks to by commandeering his hand and writing messages. I have to be able to fundamentally connect with a writer in order to enjoy a book. I seem to remember that I didn't like the style in which the book was written, like it didn't flow smoothly from beginning to end (memory hazy-It's been three years or so), and I couldn't get past the whole "god writes to me by using my hands" deal. I'm just not open enough to that kind of stuff. It's the 21st century! When I get a good book, I don't want to put it down. I just got frustrated reading that one because it was so choppy. How does the series end? Does he realize he was writing everything himself the whole time? Otherwise he's just externalizing.

Actually, the series hasn't ended. In fact, the new books are the reason why I think Walsch could be making it all up. It was GREAT up until "The New Revelations" came out. This book was a complete waste of money and seemed to be capitalizing on 911. Neale plays dumb the whole book so that God can basically repeat everything that he's said in the other books, especially book 1. There were no new revelations. I could have just re-read book 1.
I didn't even read the new one.
But as long as you don't read CWG with the idea that it has to be real, then it's the greatest book series ever written IMO. There's a lot of wisdom in those pages.
