Ya, didn't you see "I also vote for COVID-19" on the ballot next to Trump's name, qman?

qman said:
No, Trump didn't cause the final tipping point here. The virus is the perfect excuse to do what The Elite wanted to always do anyways in the first place- fiscal austerity.

I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them.  I also attack my side if I think they're wrong.  People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

That's what a vote for republicans is.

People voted for economic nationalism and didn't get it.

People got exactly what they voted for.

qman said:
Did Obama voters ask for the largest wealth in income inequality in 80 years when they drove to the voting booth to cast their vote?  No they didn't.

Yes, they did.

qman said:
Did people who voted for Democratic Congressional representatives ask for zero response to the recent looting of the Treasury to give to Wall Street?  No they didn't.

They were not given a choice.

You can choose to stick your head in the sand all you want. Sure, it's "both sides". Except it's not. This has been the Republican party platform for longer than you've been alive, and for some reason, you keep believing them when they lie to your face.

It's like an abused wife going back to her husband: "well, he didn't break my arm this time, so deep down he must still love me!"

...and then with the "both sides", you're that same lady threatening the neighbor that called the cops to stop the beating.

Remember, you voted for this. When the local MAGAs start losing their pensions and SS, well, that's just part of the MAGA.

It’s been in the works, and this gets said every 4 years regardless of whose in office.

I never said anything like that about Obama, or Clinton.

I placed the blame on Moscow Mitch during the Obama years, and Newt Gingrich in the Clinton years.

Because they are the people that deserved the blame at the time. And now, in Moscow Mitch's case.

It's not both sides. It's one side. One side is very happy to use human lives as leverage. This gives them an advantage.

You're being completely disingenuous here.

1. Trump did NOT campaign on fiscal austerity, in fact he was criticized for that fact.

2. Trump did run the strongest economic nationalism campaign in recent US history, that's a fact.

3. Obama campaigned on reversing the wealth and income inequality in that time period. The end result was that it exploded higher under his watch.

4. They were not given a choice?   Stop rationalizing it, they failed all of their supporters.  They're scamming you with their BS rhetoric. They're bought and paid for by the SAME corporate donors as the Republicans. It's time to hold Pelosi, Schumer, Bernie, AOC and the rest of the shitbags accountable for their action or lack of actions in some cases.

You're getting scammed mate. It's time to stop blaming the boogeyman Republicans. They're both shitbags owned by the same interests.

I voted for Obama in the past, so I'm not defending anything here. It's called being intellectually honest about the situation.

Explanation is pretty damn simple to anyone that's paying attention.

Remember what happened when Pelosi said the bill didn't go far enough? Moscow Mitch went on Fox news and started pounding his chest about the inhuman Democrats screwing everyone by blocking the $1200 stimulus payment.

Again, one party is perfectly okay using human lives as leverage.

The Coronavirus Contraction is a mo better term to use.

Especially since Koods doesn't think Trump did enough to respond to corona to begin with.

Had we all closed down sooner or in a stricter manner, there would have been a larger contraction of the economy which Koods would have also blamed on Trump.

4 MORE YEARS!

The longer you don't let people work, and the longer businesses are closed, the greater the negative impact is on the economy.

Has nothing to do with South Korea.
