I worked at a university.  CSEA isn't for teachers.  They have their own union. 

I can tell you this much. I would have made twice as much if it weren't for they union.  The medical coverage was solid though.

I don't think people working in government should be allowed to unionize. I consider police officers to be members of the executive branch. Probably the most fundamental members of that branch.

Yup.  My bosses petitioned the union to create a new classification to increase my pay, but it was denied.

They felt bad, but they hired me to teach part time even though I had no degree.  This gave me some additional income.
