That sounds good.
Now I had water in my plates, I wrapped from the bottom up and the top down. They sat in water, maybe they should be in a separate container?

Right, so they look pretty good and clean to you as well correct? I’m going to be using these two transfers to inoculate two jars once they grow out some more. So what do you think? So what do you think about them? Time to put to grain soon??? I’m it going to be taking anymore transfers I don’t think. What do you think about my transfers I posted? Good enough for inoculation?

I do recall some trial and error with the foil wrap.
What works for me is a piece about 18", place stack of 5 in center.
Take right side just over the opposite edge at top of stack, tuck in sides, bottom then top, then finish with left side over the top.

Albino cambo pin clone from a streak plate.

I just cannot settle for anything less than a perfectly clear view of my agar. It's sorta the whole point. No-pour glass petris only.

I’m lazy and don’t like using tin foil.

Glad makes the big tubs that are pp5..was thinking of running that to sterilize my (new to me) glass Petri dishes...might just stick to pouring since its so easy.

So LadysKnight is your aluminum foil pack of petris stitting in water in the PC?
I was going to switch to oven sterilizing and then pour in the SAB.

That could be important, went back and edited previous post

Pour from pot to plates on kitchen counter (at any temp)
Let plates cool, lids off.
Add lids, stack in groups of 5, wrap in foil.
PC for 20, let cool completely before moving off burner

Edit: also, I use jar rings and trivet, add just enough water to cover trivet.

Some ok stuff going on here but does anyone have a read on the 2 tone types of myc that grow on the same plates.  Its like halk rhiz, half Tom.  Not sure if the plates with the fingers are contaminated as they look to be running away.

Hey experts!

I'm going to use one of these Atl#7 transfer plates with the Blenderless Liquid Innoculant tek to nock up some WBS and barley jars this evening.

Which of these two would you pick for this?

PS-- these will be intended for stones!!!

I see halos on most of these, I don't trust halos. Next to last is mold.

The next to last is shiitake lol

I was really asking about the 2 tone stuff as I know what a good plate looks like I think.

I thought about precluding my opinion with the fact I don't know ATL, but figured it had to be similar, sorry about that, good luck.

Can't see the halo clearly, but if it's mold, that would cause the 2 tones.

You got me on the shiitake. IMO, COW is also indistinguishable from orange mold.

So school me Edmunter. Yours and Coastal's cultures look quite different, yet both are healthy and typical ATL#7?
