T1 Muliercula taken 7/04 coming along!



Not sure what happened with this plate.  It’s one of the original Muliercula plates I swabbed with spores.  It was starting to germinate then this growth took over.  Was linear so I didn’t think it was mold and let it grow out.  What do you guys think?  Definitely looks like myc, just not sure what kind.

Well I don't know if I mislabelled that last mexicana tray or mabye grabbed the wrong needle and got cube spores mixed in or what cause here's the next tub, it's oats to coir but cased with cactus soil mix this time, from the same damn ms syringe when i track it back

Oh no i meant I had a tray that was supposed to be mexicana before but it ended up being cubes so I think i had mislabelled it while this tray is an actual mexicana, but both trays came from the same syringe originally

I don't think so, although I do have a gym  syringe to start up (not sure what kind though) and i recently found out there's apparently a bunch of gyms that fruit in my local area over the summer, couple of psilocybin containing pholiotina species to

Hahaha it's always a fun surprise still! I've done it alot cause I'm usually lazy and say screw it and do a couple spore to grains while I wait for the agar cultures to grow out (blasphemy I know but I usually have the extra jars so why not)

Hopefully this one actually matures! Its already bigger than the aborts I got my first try, it'll be my first mature exotic mushroom hopefully since my luck with pans seems to be kinda bad still

So I got about 8 bags of colonized sugar cane (zap) I placed these 4 into the cold weather tent in their bag (62F) I’ve lost a few trays they just seemed to overlay maybe my case was not thick enough (they were also hwfp straw coir ) I’m gonna try and fruit a few invitro but then I’m also gonna break a few down into trays and try to case with about 1 inch of loamy soil. What y’all think?

That sounds good I think, have you considered just a normal 50/50+ case or something as well to see?

2nd outdoor patch to produce, 1st planted, different location put out its first fruit all of a sudden and it’s a nice one!  Unfortunately I hadn’t checked it in a couple days and the slugs ravaged the back half of it...

It is. :-).  Planted some contaminated sub this past spring and covered it with about 2” of potting soil.
