LOL. I have to admit that's a fair point. American too, funnily enough.

Fact of the matter is, it kills 100 people a year. Many drugs are banned for killing far less.

That's a completely unacceptable number of deaths. Also like 'nita says - god knows how many live but lose their dicks.

The idea that one does not look good naked without this surgical modification boils down to (anticipated) social pressures. Same with your scenario of the girls laughing behind his back. But yes you did give some other reasons. IMO the cleanliness thing is a mostly a red herring. Bathing at least daily and after sex is a good idea for anyone. Apart from that there is just the perception of cleanliness, which again is a social thing. And with the STI studies, were these people using condoms and using them properly? Behavior is the biggest factor in avoiding STIs.

They say u should only wash what you can see. So i guess rolling your skin up isnt the correct way to wash an uncut dick. Plus scrubbing an uncut penis head hurts so much. A good friend's nephew was circumcised after his parents decided not to have it done, and then changed their minds about a week later.  The kid ended up having the entire head of his junk cut off and is fucked up for life (can you imagine how that dad feels?).  Watch "American Circumcision" on Netflix if you wanna be bothered about having your dick cut and the most sensitive parts removed without your consent.  Seriously though, you'll be disturbed but maybe you won't do it to your son's someday.  America is the only nation in the world that does it without a religious reason (not that a religious reason is a good one either)

It doesn't prevent hiv. This is such a bs argument. It's a secreting membrain, so of course it would allow viruses in easier. It's a sensitive area, but cercumsized people get it too. It usually passes anally.

There is also a difference between directly preventing deaths and preventing incidental deaths caused by personal choice that may or may not happen. Especially when you are violating liberties. The babies grow up, and it seems like a choice adult men should have, but, I have a half ass belief in Freedom, so I'm probably extreme.
Also, shouldn't it be adults getting HIV? Why are we taking preventative measures on adult choices?
