Some circs are medically appropriate, I'm ok with those.
And some are required by religious custom, I can go along with devotion.

But in the USA, circumcision is elective cosmetic surgery 99% of the time.
So stop paying for it with my tax dollars.

"Go along" in the sense of tolerate and not forbid a practice which is rooted in faith.
There are people who sincerely believe it's part of their covenant with their god.

As opposed to chopping part of your baby off so you don't have to teach him to wash under his foreskin or say the word "penis" to him.

Does that make more sense?
