Personally I’ve come to the conclusion that circumcision is unnecessary and I would never circumcise my child. I guess there are extreme cases where the foreskin is too tight and that may be an exception.

I never gave permission for those assholes to take away my dick skin and if I could go back in time and stop it from happening I would.

I suspect that subjecting infants to the trauma of circumcision without anesthesia (as I understand is how they do it - correct me if I’m wrong) probably causes permanent changes in the developing personality. It also leads to a desensitized penis and less pleasure during sex.

Why are they doing this to us? I don’t wanna go too far down the satanic Illuminati conspiracy theory rabbit hole but I’m just throwing it out there.

I do agree that it seems weird and pretty much unnecessary.

I was at a get together recently with many females though, and to put it briefly the gist of one topic of conversation was that this group vastly preferred the "mutilated" variety.

Could very likely be some sort of societal construct, IDK.

I don't really care either way. Still feels good to me when I do the sex.

If I had a kid, I'd probably have it done just because that seems to be what American girls are used to and looking for.

I could totally get the 'cleaner' argument if we were living in medieval times and conditions. Not in the western world where we are 10 meters away from a water tap.

Can't comment on the lasting longer bit, as there's a myriad other factors that affect sex duration.

But I agree with OP, people should have control over their own body.

The foreskin is particularly susceptible to many types of infection, including HIV.

No it’s really not. We know about PTSD and how traumatic events impact children and people in general. I don’t think it’s ridiculous at all

Of course kids is on the wrong side.
He just rejects to the idea that causing extreme trauma to an infant could cause harm.
Also, HIV? Wow, what a reach.
It's also sad how cercumsized people make excuses for their mutilation, as though it looks preferable or is cleaner.
Maybe clean your cock regularly.

I was cercumsized, but thankfully they did a bad job. You'd definitely need lotion if your foreskin went taught when you got aroused.

Either way, it's a serious issue of personal liberty since it's perminant. You can do wit when they are older, with anesthetic, and their choice.

I disagree with this. I feel that early trauma has a way of imprinting on, or perhaps shaping even, that small quantity of brain matter that is present when we're born.

I nearly drowned when I was very small - and whilst I have zero memory of the event - it certainly impacts my life on a daily basis.

you do you. but no son of mine is goona be an ant eater. i heard uncircumcised guys get "dick cheese". ive never had anything remotely resembling cheese on my dick in my entire life so I'm happy.

also like koods says the foreskin is susceptible to infection.

and this is anaecdotal but I knew a guy who would apperently get urinary tract infections so they had to circumcise him when he was 8.
