Telling somebody to ‘fuck off’ for saying you’re being dishonest is not a personal attack.  It can still be taken bad, BUT in no way is it a personal attack.

I live in queens ny.  White.  Im constantly insulted by mexicans and high school kids as white boi or cracker.  Im the minority in queens.  When i confront them, they all say the same thing. "We dont want you here white boi!"  Im a grown man and really dont care what they say.  More what they do.  I got jumped once for being white while jogging.  This was 2 years ago.  I caught one of the kids and sued his family.  He was 17. 

Point is.  Racism agains whites is VERY widespread in nyc.  However, thats because whites are a minority in nyc now.  It seens that minorities in general are picked on.

To say whites arent targeted is false.  I am middle aged.  I talk to friends who live around here and they all say that it has gotten worse the browner nyc has become.  The detectives and police agree.  Hate crimes against whites are up... Except they arent reported as hate crimes.  This is a big reason behind "white flight".  To deny this is just nuts.  Im not even racist.  My wife isnt white and my kid isnt white.  We will be leaving nyc as soon as we can afford  because of the rise in violence against us and around us due to immigration.

I thought the white priviledge stuff was a meme.  Do you really believe that whites have priviledges?  Like what?  I sure need to take advantags of that!

Here's a question and answer honestly: in your experience, how often do the NYC police target you for a "stop and frisk"?

I don't think any member on this forum claims that having light-tone skin means you will never face racism in your life, but I think it is still important to recognize the qualitative difference between racist individuals and racist systems; and I think the way our police system works is a great example of this difference.

In my home city one study found that dark-skinned folk run a 17x greater chance of being randomly "carded". The numbers don't seem much better for NYC.

I'm not trying to belittle your experiences, but imagine if those people shouting out "We don't want you here white boi!" held badges that gave them a legal authority to harass you, and carried weapons they were legally allowed to use on you? Imagine if, after getting beat up while jogging, you found the person responsible, but the entire legal system is set up to protect them from any negative consequences and instead your five-year-old cannabis conviction is paraded around as an example of your criminal character.

That's one example of white privilege. In the USA, the experience I outlined above is statistically much much more likely to happen to someone perceived to be "non-white". If your kids are visibly dark-skinned, the experience I outlined above is much much more likely to happen to them, than it is to you as a visibly light-skinned individual.




As a side note, my understanding is that violent crime in NYC is on a downward trend, and that immigrants statistically commit less crime than the general population - do you have any sources for the below claim?

Thats not a hate crime and its legal so...its a bad argument.  People are also improperly identified as white black ect.  The stastics mean nothing anymore because what one thinks is white is really mexican and what another thinks is black is really an indian.  The stats are BS.  Politics.  I take the train daily in jyc and have never in my life seen someone stop and frisked.  If you get frisked you probably deserved to!

There wont be sources about how immigrants are the cause of increased crime because the fbi and local authoriies have deemed it racist to keep tabs on crimes like that.  I only have first hand experience and a long history of nyc friends families and coworkers all saytling the same thing.  I dont need a source to tell me what I see with my own eyes.  I get you shouod but im afraid that source wont satisfy you.

NYC’s stop and frisk program was illegal. They were ordered to stop by a federal court. Do you have a source for your claim that the majority of drug dealers are black?

Sometimes they are misleading.
So he get's to make up whatever bullshit he wants, and pretend like he's stating a statistic. See how this starts to make sense.

He stated he questions the integrity behind one particular statistic and trusts his own personal experiences on the issue.

You do realize crime statistics relating to the racial component have been manipulated in the past and weren't 100% genuine in nature?

So questioning one statistic is now  "don't care about the facts"?  Come on now, we all know there's motivation to skew statistics for all types of different reasons.
