Rand and Ron Paul are foreign policy geniuses.  If only they had some economic sense...

Jimmy Dore totally ripped Jake Tapper regarding the video you just posted:

I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them.  I also attack my side if I think they're wrong.  People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

Yeah, and if Trump really does pull the plug, then I have to give that old bastard some credit, if only a modest modicum of it.

In fact, if he wants his stupid fuckin wall, that's a good way to pay for it.

Shouldn't the wall, as domestic defense, be paid for by Military funding anyways?

It's a civilian sector in 'peace time'.  Military doesn't build walls well they didn't used to.  They build blast walls and a lot of razor wire.  If in some circumstances they use a lot clay-mores and other mines.

I promise if the military armed the border, if they really had no spending limit.  It'd be a beast that nobody or no-thing would want to go near.

Especially if they had air support.  Nothing like being the first body to lay on the razor wire (dead) to allow a path for others to get over.  Then being burned alive by napalm and strafing runs.

They have built defenses on US beaches before.  Not a whole lot sure what WW2 beaches in America were like.  But during the Cuban missile crisis, they had a lot on the beaches.

Yes, it's the military's responsibility to build boarder walls, I've just decided.

At least it could be argued that we were blowing military dollars domestically rather than abroad. Hell, I might even sort of get on board with the wall from a financial perspective if this were the case.
