What about british english and american english?  Same language, but readily seen as different.  Could that be a sign of a bifurcating language, an intermediate form?

Transitional fossils exist all over the record.  Those are what I would have considered intermediate forms.  I can think of many animals that have similar traits to two other animals.  I think intermediate forms exist, just not at arbitrarily high resolution.  If a animal like a wolf and like a bear existed, a wolf-bear, then deniers would simply move the bar to demand a intermediate between a bear and a wolf-bear.  Find that and they move the bar again.  This is how deniers operate.

I thought the combination of body language and vocal calls used for acts such as hunting we're an intermediate form of language.

Heck apes are pretty good hunters mind you.


It seems a killer instinct drives packs of apes and animals alike(lions etc) to hunt and 'communicate' with strategy.
