Tired of tearing foil to cover pasteurization jars and grain jars?  I got me 5 boxes of these. They perfect size and can be reused quite a few times.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00N8KR7UU?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00

Ahh the price went up.  They were $3 a pack with free shipping.  Still not bad.

Nice SSD,

I had a Crucial M4 and OCZ Agility 256gb, then I gave that comp to my brother and now have a Western Digital Blue like 15000rpm 1tb. I hate it lol, everything is so slow.

im excited. Run all virtual notebooks so this SSD will help tons. I only keep the OS and programs on the internal drive. My database, movies, music, pictures, etc are all on a 1TB external drive. Than I have another 1TB external drive for the backup. Although, it is about time to upgrade the 2, 1TB external hard drives to 2, 2TB hard drives. I like to replace my hard drives once a year. Thats what happens when I have hundreds of hours worth of work and hundreds of thousands of dollars of worth of books, movies, software, and music

im excited to use that torch to for my scalpel too! and the joint papers for when the harvst comes in. That stuff was my x-mas present to myself :stoner:

I just built a rig for a friend with a 500GB Samsung M.2 ssd drive, it absolutely rapes my dual raid 0 Samsung 950 PROs sideways. M.2 drives are the shit. Consider one for your next build.

I just bought a new laptop with a 256gb SSD. I'm pretty stoked.

My next build involves a Titan:
http://www.frys.com/product/8119605?source=google&gclid=CjwKEAiA7_OzBRDA8OfT3orp51oSJACVqslIztjrcQFXF_9NCVBwMvbrAq1cGxg3p3KLdb8zZIAfvxoCF4Dw_wcB
(hopefully )
A huge SSD and a water cooling system. My other brother is taking the comp I currently have so I'm just going to go big. I game and video edit and shit so it's nice. Probably grab me a low i7 and OC it. I think i7s are a bit overrated but I don't want this comp to be obsolete in seven years when graphics are virtual reality

Yeah I hope I'll never have to work on this thing. It's a lenovo yoga 2 pro with the core i7 and 8gb ram.

I also got a nice new graphics card for my desktop but I can't use it until this SATA to PCIe power adapter. My power supply is kinda crappy and I'm gonna replace it soon, but the stock one has this SATA daisy chain thing that's the only pour source for extras. I'm stoked to finally be able to play fallout 4 though.

man, i just buy the bottom of the line laptop every year

this summer i spent 300 on a lenevo g50
6 gb ram with 1gb dedicated to the video card
AMD A8-6410 APU with AMD Radeon RD graphics 2.00 GHZ
64 bit system
then just upgraded to the SSD

i just do basic things on the laptop though i.e. virtual notebooks/database, research, education, movies, music. have it connected to my 50 inch flatscreen. I literally work in my bed which is not ideal but i get my work done fast.

The only issue i had with this PC is the damn HDD would lock up the system. Now with the SDD, their is like no load times. I went from wanting to snap my PC in half 12 times a day to now where i actually enjoy working a lot more. Think I got at least 8 hours worth of work done today.

Meh, i will get another laptop in about 5 months. Just makes since to do it like this in my case/ With technology drooping in price so fast/ and only $300 a year. Like, once the warranty is up its time to buy.

If I did video editing, gaming, or other activities that demand a lot of power than I would build a PC. FUck man, I remember dropping 2k on a desktop 10 years ago. The future man. its here

I hope this laptop lasts me at least as long as my last one, which was 3 years. This new graphics card is just temporary. I'm going to build a PC with a home theater case and do everything top of the line, but that's going to be a drawn out project.

I don't do any really serious regular gaming, but I want to play fallout 4. I'm going to hook the desktop up to my TV once I get the new GPU powered up, but eventually it will be replaced by the home theater PC build. That may take me a year to complete, but it will be worth it.

I bought a desktop with the basics (totally oT)

1terra hard drive
16g DDR3
I7 3.4ghz
Radeon Graphics

All for the wife for Christmas, set me back 1k.

Out of the box the fucking thing wouldn't load past the start up screen. Called Tek support, they said, "Do you want to send it back so that we can repair it?" I was like, HELL NO, I want a $1000.00 computer to fucking work out of the box.

This is why I have always built my own computers, I just didn't have time this year.

:lmafo:, "I want a 1000.00 computer to fucking work out of the box."

Yea, that and being my own tech support and knowing exactly what's in my PC is why I build. Plus its fun lol, its like spawning a much more complicated tub. MB is your liner, ram and gfx and sound cards and hdd/ssd are the grains and the power supply and external inputs are the FAE.

Gonna drop some more TMF from spores

@Eno

Fallout 4 is amazing for the first few days. Then it starts to feel like skyrim and you get way to overpowered. I'm level 20 now and I've done like 1 story mode mission and I just went around and did everything else by random chance encounter and I have some of the most powerful guns.

I had to up the difficulty to the hard so it would take more then one shot to kill a super mutant lol.

But overall 10/10 game. I got the urge to play now haha. I've heard great things about the story mode, I'm gonna try to finish it in one sitting.

I also grabbed the Lone Wanderer perk which lets you carry more without a companion and if you use dogmeat he doesn't count so you get your extra carry weight along with a companion who can carry things. Some people say its a glitch but honestly dogmeat is a shitty companion compared to everyone else who you can give a gun to and can kill people. The dog is just a distraction.

Just something to keep in mind if you like going it solo. F4 is difficult with no one at all so I picked the dog just to distract some gun fire and found the glitch.

Niiiiiiiceeee,

Yeah I've never played it sober ,

My next goal is to make a Samurai. Playing on hardcore mode, I'll spawn myself a chinese officer sword to start and use melee all throughout. Also get a super mutant ally with a super sledge and just go ham lol. Only gun will be a .44 snub nose revolver.

This is a better timer than the one I posted above, and pretty much the same price, on 5sec to 30min and off 5sec - 60min....er something like that. About 40 bucks she cost after shipping....a must have, I'd think, for Greenhouse/fruiting tubs....basically anything using a humidifier.
