I have one of those but never tried to hook it up, maybe one day. I always wondered how accurate the sensor might be at high humidity since digital are known to be somewhat inaccurate but since 99% humidity isn't exactly a requirement I guess it should be good to go.

By using a analog hygrometer with the wet towel you should be able to dial it in..

Dont forget to calibrate your unit once complete, mine was 6.3% low.

The ebay product is only for 12Volts.  How would you use that?

Surprised I don't see these more often but since the new gen is gun shy about lc I'm not surprised. I personally never liked the process of making syringes and just poured from the jar. A syringe has its role in lc but it takes too long, in my opinion, to make a 60-140ml syringe. With this it should suck up pretty fast. The hole is a lot bigger than a needles opening and the suction bulb gets rid of the plunger, sounds good in theory, this particular syringe holds about 110ml, which I wish it was bigger but its all they got, so it'll do. The tip, being glass, can be sterilized in the flame of your lamp if you chose, not to mention the whole thing is autoclaveable. I've augmented my procedure to cater to pouring lc straight from the jar but when I chose to use a syringe this will be my go to for sure. 13 bucks new ain't bad either. If I find a cap for it, I'd trust this to store lc in over a standard syringe by far.

I'm looking for tips here

I want a large flow hood because I intend to start working with grow bags.  I'll also be upgrading to a 941 PC.  I can already see how easy this is going to be... here's what I'm thinking.  clone on agar, transfer to LC, inoculate grain masters, g2g to grow bags, spawn to bulk.  I may even convert an entire spare bedroom into a green house with RH controller and pond fogger(I'll need to figure out how to bring FAE into the grow room.  I plan to prep my grain by soaking 24 hours, then strain, then 10% vermiculite to absorb excess moisture, then PC for 2.5 hours.

What should I be looking for?  Better to build my own?  I'm not worried about spending some money either.

I don't even know how to work with bags yet, it's not as obvious as jars where you know you just screw the lid down or whatever.  I'll be doing a search for a tek on that.  Any pointers are appreciated!

Well, stacks of monos can replace a green house room well depending on species.

This is Def NOT the place to ask qs like this. Try the " AMU" thread

Being able to expand ur grains makes a good grower. It's easy to make ur grains a lil too wet which may cause enough bacteria to make that culture Un suitable for expansion...

Life will tell u soon if ur ready. Being focused on profits always leads u to what u r missing along w a disappointment
