Big investment/Mycobags tricks of trade

alrigth guys i ordered 10 mycobags and 2 PES Hawaian and 2 EQ strains. I set my room thermostat at 79-82 degrees, it flucuates a little so this the best i could do temp wise. I then put 5 bags with the EQ strain in them and let them sit in a trunk i had, every night openeing it up a little so that fresh air would get in. But i have realized that fresh air is only need at the fruiting stage anyway. Wel i waited about 20 or so days once in awhile the heat got cut off and i didn't include those days but nothing happened. No colonization at all. I later tried a similiar deal with PES's but instead i put them in a carboard box with little holes cut in it(again i was thinking ventilation) next to the heating system in my room for warmth. Agian nothing happened. I just got new reimbursment spores i have 5 unused mycobags and 5 twice used mycobags. I realy cant afford to fuck this up again. I have alcohol swabs, but i was wondering what extra steps can i take now to insure this crop works? should i buy a fish tank heater and put in a glass of water in my trunk, or maybe i shouldn't use a trunk at all? Are their any tricks of the trade for mycobags i should know about? People who have had succesful crops what did you put the bags into to keep them from the light etc? I have read all the mycobags post for the last 23 pages at least so i am not just being a lazy ass dude.

when u say didnt work do u mean, nuthing? contams,. or wat, im thinking if nuthing happend put some spores in there

My mycobag tip is don't buy them. Instead of the $125(I believe, with shipping) you spent on those 10 bags, you could've bought everything you needed for a PF tek setup. I recently bought 4 bags, and its been like 3 weeks and I think they are all contaminated....they smell like feet or something raunch. I bought all the PF Tek supplies and innoculated 12 jars on tuesday. There is growth in about half the jars already, but still nothing in the bags. I say fuck the bags. If you fuckup a bag, you cant just mix up some more substrate and start over. With jars you can fuckup all you want, as long as your willing to mix a some more substrate and resterilize your jars. A hell of a lot more convienient than those damn bags, if you ask me...

Agreed-- Read up on the PFtek, buy some supplies at Walmart, and do it yourself.
