Nope, not the US worker, do you understand the basic concept of demand and supply?  US wages are stuck in the mud for decades now and illegals are one of the mains reasons for that fact.

You are entirely correct that about this.  What he fails to understand is that the American citizens who would otherwise get these jobs are now welfare cases. How much in taxes are they paying?

It may be somewhat true that a job an illegal has isn't a job taken away from a citizen or resident (in some cases). I just find it unfair on a personal level and don't fully understand the impact of it on the national economy. What I am sure of is that it's certainly not helping this nation.

It most certainly does not help this nation when a domestic job demand is filled by a foreign supply that is illegal.

then the market would be flooded by american citizens and the wages go down anyway. it's inevitable, everything we do now economically is simply to entertain ourselves while we wait for the inevitable, which is an economic collapse, except this wont necessarily be a bad thing, it just means no more rich or poor, everyone will be equal as u wish.

if u want equality take it up with the richest of folks, not the poorest who barely get by on untaxed money.

The US citizen gets fucked a lot less if Julio stays at home. If the US economy had a shortage of workers then fine allow more LEGAL immigration, but that just isn't the case today.

I hired subcontractors to complete a job for me, they slapped it on as fast as possible and damaged well over half the material, they happened to be mexican but supplied us with false insurance papers and fake social security numbers  so we didn't know they were here illegally, and when I told them I wasn't going to pay them until they replaced all the shit they fucked up and that it would be coming out of their pay for all the material they'd be replacing, they upped and disappeared.

I'll give them credit, they did indeed work their balls off, but the quality they produced was so fucking poor I was disgraced to have my companies name attached to it, and ended up having to come out of my pocket since they vanished not only for the material they fucked but the labor I had to put in to replace it.

I also ended up getting fined around 7000 because OSHA snapped pictures of them not wearing their harnesses, which as a subcontractor should of came out of their pocket, but came back on me because they disappeared.

I have nothing against mexicans or immigrants, but come here legally, my highest paid employee got a green card and came here 5 years ago because his wife is a citizen, he went through the proper channels and is now a full fledged american citizen making around 30 an hour.

You're also making it harder for mexicans/immigrants who DID come here legally, he left my company for a bit to work solo because he thought he could make more money that way (no hard feelings about it, he has a family to feed and was doing what he thought was best by them) and ended up begging to come back a few months later, because everyone who tried to hire him basically laughed in his face when they saw the price thinking he was illegal and going to be dirt cheap. He is an immigrant, who basically still gets treated like an illegal, solely because illegals are huge in my type of work. He couldn't get anyone to hire him for what I pay him or even close to it, just because they could hire someone else dirt cheap, because they don't have to pay insurance, taxes, ANYTHING for illegals.

I'm a little high and some of my points might be jumbled up or off, but no matter how you spin it, illegals immigrants effect not only american citizens who were born here, but also immigrants who came here legally and wanted to start a decent life.

Not only do I agree with that 100%, but you saying they're all suspects because of it also reminds me how the legal immigrants not only get fucked job wise, but also get treated like shit because of it too. I can't tell you how many times I've watched people blatantly say shit to his face or blow him off acting like he's a low life because it's a construction type work, and his skin is brown, so they think he's illegal and can't speak english.

He basically can't even publicly have a point of view without being discriminated against because of how many illegal citizens are running rampant here, and how because ignorant people immediately hear an accent/spanish and brown skin and automatically lump them all in the same group, just like you said, they're all suspects, solely because of the illegal ones.

I can probably say without exaggerating that I talk to at least one person a day, who tells me how hard it is bidding work anymore because people hire these fly by night illegals, who come in, slap it on, take cash, and get out. It's fucking a lot of people, and it's hard to be competitive without doing the same, which just contributes to the problem and fucks over more people.

As a plumber for the last 11 years in a the Los Angeles area, I can tell you first hand that illegals fuck the labor market.  It wouldn't be so bad, if people with ditch digging skills kept digging ditches.  The problem is that they get hired to dig a ditch, then they watch a plumber put some pipe in the ditch, and they say to themselves "I could do that".  Now they call themselves a plumber.  These "plumbers" offer their services for a fraction of what a real plumber has to charge.  After all, when you were making $80 a day as a digger, a couple hundred a day sounds pretty good.  Dumbass homeowners take low bids, and don't even question why the estimate Juan gave them is sooooo much cheaper than the estimate that John gave them.  To make things worse, "mexicans"(latinos) have somehow garnered a reputation in pop-culture for being able to fix and build things.  I've always thought that this was counter-intuitive anyway, because...well just look at their countries
a huge amount of my work is tearing out the garbage these "plumbers" do and fixing it, but i don't get paid as well as people used to get paid to do my job
