Why, Texas, mushmaster.
Conservative republican politics at work.
I find it funny that you would compare such policies to Nazism

I believe you'll find that "ALL" is the proper answer. Of course 16 year olds aren't supposed to post here so I guess following the rules is a "subjective" thing.

I talked to my lawyer today and he said the worst case scenario is i will have Probation for about 6 months, and maybe have my license suspended. That doesn't seem too bad since that's the worst possible thing that will happen.
These aren't his exact words but he said that the snuff excuse for probable cause was some of the biggest BS he's ever heard. Another thing to add to that is that the car is registered under my dad's name, so it could've been my dad or anyone walking by my car that could spit on it. So far i like my chances. Thanks again for all of your help.

..in your case, there prolly wont be any prison time...but you and/or your family might still be required to surrender assets (you can prolly forget about the car)...as to the topic of the thread..there is no such thing as an illegal search..irregardless of what the law says on paper...any given court will always rule in the govt's favour...

Where have you been. Many criminals and even murders get off due to this. In many cases it wouldnt even go to the jury it would just be a mistrial. The law has no common sense which is why this law does work.

i would say this is similar to something that happened to me:
i got pulled over with a friend in my 93 cutlass which i bought in 2002. the police officer asked to search the vehicle, and i said no. so the officer did what most do and make up some kind of probable cause. anyways, i dont smoke, but the cop found several seeds and some flakes, and i got ticketed! i fought the ticket and got off the hook because i explained that the car was purchased used, i didnt give consent to search, and the judge was actually a nice guy.
i would say it was illegal, but im no lawyer... talk to somebody with law knowledge and good luck to you!
