work time goes slow

When I'm working it feels like the 7 hours or less I get each day when I aren't working is like recuperation time. Recuperation time is better than boring time or drama time. Recuperation time has a positive vibration. Sleep is another form of recuperation time but you only get to enjoy the very end of it. Work time sucks though. The first six hours are just draining and the last two hours are more excited cause it's ending soon. I think about the passing of time constantly while I'm working. The job isn't that bad but it's got its downsides and it's tough for me to break that habit. Do many other people have that problem? Can I be hypnotized to think I've spent the day fishing?

yeah i felt the same way when i had boring jobs where i didnt really do anything. So i ended up looking at the clock every 5 mins.

now i just got a job in masonry and there is never a time when im not doing something and the day goes by fast as hell. Plus im gonna get huge from lifting all these god damn cinder blocks and bricks and mixing cement all day :smile:

I'm the miscellaneous gopher at a plant nursery. Like I said it's not the worst job i've had and it's not the hardest either but I'm still draggin my feet through each day like on every other job.

I work two jobs. One is at a bed and breakfast. My boss there is completly insane and in the three years that I've worked there, she still cant remember my name. The money I make there I save for college. I'm going to UCLA next fall. Then i also waitress. That's my party money. I hate work, but i love money (and what it buys). That's why i plan on marrying a rich old man. Bah ha.
