Eat The Strawberries

I recently pulled myself out of the worst of my psychotic delusions over the past few months.

I forgot to take to take my 100 mg of ziprasidone last night.  Did not sleep at all. Got up feeling extremely manic, like being on coke but with a mushroom body buzz. Reminded me of psychosis but because I can challenge my delusional beliefs, I did not feel any of the godlike grandiosity or the suspicious paranoia.

Just euphoria and the feeling of waves of dopamine crashing over your body.  It sounds pleasurable but chapel perilous for me was pretty dark. As dark as it is for everyone else but also as unique as anything one will experience.

Being reminded of psychosis made me want to say a few words for those who still find themselves in chapel perilous.

Light is not good.
Dark is not evil.

At the same time though:

Dark isn't good.
Light isn't evil.

Light is just cosmic radiation.
Darkness is just less cosmic radiation.

Dark is passive.
Light is creative.

Yin-
Yang

There is nothing more spiritual about the light than the dark.
There is nothing in the dark that isn't there in the light.

God is both light and darkness.

You are not a god.
You are just a man/woman.

You are not an outside observer studying the matrix.
You are an integral fold in space-time.

You are not evil. You did not do anything to deserve this.
But you born flawed, just like the rest of us.

You are special, but so is everyone else.
You can do things that no else can, but so can everyone else.

Humans are not evil. They are just humans.

You aren't a fool for taking drugs.
You were just a kid looking for a good time. There is nothing wrong with that.

Psychosis is just the trip everyone else is trying to achieve by using altered states.

Most of humanity isn't the manure for the Boddhavista lotus to flower in.
Every one gets there eventually, it just takes lifetimes.

Seems elementary doesn't it? For someone in chapel perilous... I wouldn't even begin to know how to explain it.

And here is the hardest part. The part I can try to communicate but you will never understand until it just clicks one day.




You are not smarter than anyone else just better at being you.

Beautiful words. I enjoyed the entire post, but this part really jumped out at me:

They aren't parasites they are just pieces of your mind that don't quite fit together the way they should. It is hard but you can learn to sift out the hallucinations by recognizing that they figments of the unconscious that are rising to the surface and being reflected by your senses. I can't help you learn to understand these entities and more than saying what I did, but if you keep am open mind and keep studying them they will just click one day and you will never be bothered in the same way ever again.


That being said I have encounted spirits before; wolves and chinese dragons and other stranger entities. Spirits are also hallucinations but they have inscrutable and unknowable personalities that usally have something they want to show you. They only take the forms of animals or monsters because that is the only way our minds can process such alien info. Doesn't mean they are any easier to deal with but they have a set goal and aren't just there to fuck with you.

I know it sounds like a double standard but the difference is in the purpose of the encounter. Egoic magicians aren't necessaryily evil and they usally have better things to do than fuck with people; I would not worry about them if I were you. Repetilians... well maybe they exist, try looking into the occult to determine what the purpose of these entities in the cosmos are.

And definitely eat the strawberries. If you are hanging from a precipice waiting to be devoured by tigers you might as well eat the berry, you don't really have many options.
