Frustration from the inevitably unknown

Science can only go so far when it comes to giving us insight about the universe and its mysteries. There's an infinitely vast and overwhelming amount of information that cannot be understood or known. Without a doubt, we will not be certain of our beliefs that have been attained from conclusions derived from trying to make sense if this whole mess. My question is, does it frustrate you one bit?

With a vast amount of information your brain would come to its capacity while it hasn't even scratched the surface, its illogical to think an infinite amount of information can be so subtle that it can fit in a persons understanding.

Makes perfect sense to me. People are curious by nature and some make an attempt to gain as much knowledge as they can acquire instead of having the benefit of the doubt. What would be contrary to my post would be the idea that a person can have the entire knowledge of the universe within their heads, that's a bit of psychedelic mysticism if you ask me.

No one knows the capacity of the brain in understanding and storing knowledge.  Especially you.  It may be enough to encompass everything, unlimited so to speak.  No one knows and your OP makes it plain that you are assuming things that you don't know.  And we certainly don't know how far science can take us in this endeavor.

I feel more humbleness than frustration. I am naturally of a curious, scientific bent and was quite materialistic before I started my psychedelic journey. I realised that there are entire dimensions of reality that we can't ordianrily perceive, let alone understand like we do consensus reality.

I learned that I'll never understand it all, in fact I'll only understand an infinitely small fragment.

By letting go of my ego I felt peace.

You personally may never understand it but others might, especially working together. So much we understand now was supposedly unknowable at one time.

Concerning the bold;

Don't you realize that you are discerning whether or not information can be understood or known, with faculties that are not conditions but are still evolving. The very fact that you recognize that science is limited, doesn't prove that science will REMAIN limited, therefore you cannot predict that we will never know somethings, RATHER that you recognize that with your current faculties of thought, you can never achieve knowledge. Ie. Before people would have said "That human beings will never be able to caclculate millions of equations in 10 minutes. What they were saying was true because people would only be able to do 600 equations in 10 minutes. What they didn't realize is that we would one day develop computers that would enable us to do such calculations.

An interesting thing to ponder is that we may not be able to tell that certain faculties of thought relate to achieving things we believe are impossible. Ie. Our faculty of thought doing with technological innovation, allowed us to achieve a goal that we once thought was impossible.

All in total, I agree that with faculties of thought have their limitations, however, I do not agree that we may not yet have developed/identified faculties that relate to us achieving what knowledge we seek and thus cannot conclude that achieving knowledge that we know is impossible is not always going to stay that way.
