That's true and a good observation. However painful to accept. It's not about us, this personality structure an emergent quality of an evolved brain. It's about something so vast we will never understand it. And it doesn't care as far as I can tell.

Yea it does suck. I try to get the fullest out of what I have now. Hopefully I will leave a lasting impact on others, so they can remember me. That's the best I could do.

Knowing I would have made an impact on someone, and I wasn't a failure at life. I guess it's just something I want to accomplish. Not that I will remember it, so I guess it really doesn't matter.

Why would someone remembering you mitigate your personal feelings of being a failure? I really doubt that would help much.

All your self esteem in this life will be generated from within no matter what we are told.
