There are diseases of affluence and diseases of poverty. In either type of society shit is gonna go wrong.

I was talking to an overweight friend on the phone a while ago and I remember her saying "today I bought ice cream, chocolate sauce, dorritos, pizza, candy bars, reeses, etc" and I thought to myself "gee I havent bought any of those things in YEARS".

Just because they sell it at the store DOES NOT mean it is healthy to consume.
I mean they sell cigarettes and alcohol and those aren't healthy to consume.

I was pudgy in highschool and it really took working my ass off + self discipline to lose that weight. It seemed overwhelming and I tought "why bother" at first and I think that people get trapped in that feeling.

It's not so much a "disease". Looking at things like addiction and obesity like that gerts people in the mindset that their fate is decided, so they put no effort into getting out of it when what they need is someone telling them

"hay, I don't care that you are thirty, get the FUCK off your ASS and exercise. It isn't the "way it is" you fat, chain smoking, chip eating moron. See, the founding fathers wouldn't have given us all this FREEDOM if they knew we were gonna SHIT ON IT, wait, you didn't, you ate it. They believed in PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY not being a god-damn couch potato that whines about their health, then eats a Twinky."

Unless your glands are making you a giant, and unless Jesus puts that drink in your hand every night(I know, they withdrawal, but you make yourself get to that point), then you arn't diseased.

That goes for the poor too, unless you were fired, or worked hard and were genuinely fucked over, it's your fault you dropped out and your parents gave up trying. College, secondary school, there are often ways out. The genuinly fucked should be helped, and those who do things like eat and eat themselves into a diabetic coma should be, I dunno. They did it, let them try to survive with it unaided in the woods. The coyotes would never have to attack sheep in the US again, plus, reality show. I mean, it's not like that TV space will be filled with something important like the news.

A good example was this lie, more then 500 lb, bed ridden man who ate and ate and ate. His family said they couldn't stop him, because he'd order a pizza lower a bucket down from his window. Don't give the fat piece of shit his money! I'd starve it out of em. Until he get's outa bed, he's not getting anything more fattening then a tuna sandwitch.

For the record, I'm chubby. 237lbs last I weighed, but I have muscle, and enough will to take a walk, or do some pushups, ride a bike, maybe lift tiny wights; something every day. There is no excuse for people like the woman who literally fuzed to her couch, and the one who did the same to her toilet seat.

I've known people to be over 300-400lbs and they've gotten under 200lbs in a few years. All that bullshit about slow metabolism and difficulty losing fat once you're the size of a blimp makes me want to smoke fat people in their fat mouths. Perhaps then they would be able to restrict their caloric intake!

I have NO compassion for fat people. My friend trains someone who's paraplegic and another person with extreme cerebral palsy. If someone who's physically handicapped can struggle to get into shape, I think a sedentary fat ass can too! Nothing upsets me more in life than fat people.
