If there is a God it obviously does not care if we consider it daily or not. I hope that any God would have seen the folly of self importance beforehand and refrain from indulging in it. A panentheistic take on God (and there are many) does not remove God radically from human beinghood. We derive moment-to-moment existence from the Ocean of Being of which we are all temporary waves.
