The inner rythm, the inner noise, on mushrooms

Im sure some of you have taken enough mushrooms to experience inner noise. Its alien, very strange noises, it can be a rhythm or just random noises, but its not an outside source, it seems to be coming from inside of your own mind.

If anyone can relate to what im talking about, discuss, because its kindof hard to relate back to it...its like a dream, ya know...its been a crazy day.

ya one time i was on mushrooms and was peaking then i smoked some buddha and it felt like a spaceship was landing it sounded like but it was like all around and it was like it was my house or whatever very strange but enjoyable

Perhaps you are referring to what are called icaros.  Under a psychotropic substance, there seem to be 3 different types of inner song/noise:
1. Music which is familiar, played over in the mind in its natural or modified state.
2. Music which is consciously created, and played within, which is not recognizable.
3. Music(and by music I am also referring to tones and noise in general) which seems to be without conscious control, as if an inner radio is playing and there is no recognition as to its source.

It is the third type in discussion here and I can definitely agree that some substances bring out these noises.  Psilocybian mushrooms seem to bring out tones and humming type noises quite frequently(along with the definite enhancement of the first two types of inner song outlined) .  I've noticed that amanita muscaria seems to be more musical in song.  Sally is a surely a noisy little strumpet as well.  And so on.  I'm sure many of us have experienced this in our journeys with a multitude of substances.  The term icaro does tend to apply to music stemming from the ingestion of natural substances though.  Some like to tie this phenomena in with the notion of plant consciousness.  Yet without a doubt, the substance which carries with it inner auditory phenomena moreso than any other is hole dose ketamine IME.  Oftentimes, this synergistically mimics the other aspects of the journey, be it visually or as per the sense of momentum.  Often very alien and machine-like in character.

i've had this... it was when i went into the dream world on mushrooms and visited several hallucinations (CEV's). one involved a huge engine with no background. i mean just an engine on a white background, which wasn't really a background at all. and there was a mechanic tinkering with it. the silence was... it wasn't silence or noise, just something unearthly. there were some clanks and noises when he twisted the bolts and stuff but it was separate from the silence. then he turned to me and said "i hope you know what you're getting yourself into with all this..." then he warped away and i realized the engine was my "sane" mind and he was some ego guardian.

This is what usually happens to me on mushrooms...Ill get the same familiar, even though never completely the same, designs, like sacred geometry but more beautiful than any pictures you will see, along with this geometry there are eyes, lots of eyes.I always see the eyes when my eyes are open, they are very faint, but I never see them when I close my eyes.

But I never really experienced the noises before, They were crazy, one of you described an alien spaceship, and it sounded ALOT like that, you know those wierd noises you always hear alien crafts make in movies.

Its like that except less corny, and it goes to a rythm, its like alien music or something...But it was definitely interesting.

I remember hearing a lot of hollow, echoing, popping sounds and stretchy sounds as the psilocybin set in last time.  Seemed to come from right inside my own brain, like I was hearing the synapses adjusting themselves.

Pop-op-op-op
Boing-oing-oing
Stretch-etch-etch

Not surprisingly, it's similar to some of the sounds you hear in psybient... especially Younger Brother, etc.  But I don't remember hearing actual music.  Though I did sing to myself for much of my last trip.  Lots of repetitive phrases, variations on themes, etc.  I had a real linguistic soundtrack going on.  :crazy2:

This may not ring a bell with anyone, but I found this to be VERY interesting...

I noticed on my mushroom trips some the same type of auditory rhythms that I experienced when I was a child and had a fever. Ive yet to experience that again even when I was sick later in my life, it just hit me again when I took mushrooms though. Its hard to explain, its a certain slow motion of noise that is unmistakeably familiar...eh maybe its only me.

that's what my friend felt when he tripped. he said it was horrible, it just felt like when he was a child and had a high fever and had even the same visual distortions.

But why did we only experience it when we were children? And why do they not happen at all any in our adult life, but then we take mushrooms and its the same auditory distortions...Its just interesting  to me...

imo when we are kids we aren't as programmed into a collective vision of reality. a child sees a different world that sometimes is available again to gifted people, like artists, prophets, mystics and madmen. then again i don't know what benefits could we get from that particular inner noise... or why is it important to sense it.

i know exactly what u are talking about....the alien noise humming static voices of the mushrooms......dont ever listen to the mushroom or u will go insane......i first heard my friends soul energy which sounded like waves of throwing up, there emotional energy was bothering me.......

i heard any song in my head i could play back perfect........

i heard a million voices of what to me sounded like druid or past neanderthals chanting as if they were trying to summon me or something.

i fought the mushroom noise and then listened to this dimension. the earth felt ancient and still .....i felt it was very very very ancient and i seemed to feel comfort from a laptop which was modern.

i heard what was like electronic snaps when all of the eyes around me were moving...like movement was static and fluid.....i also saw the eyes everywhere....the ancient peacock god in the middle east is the god they called the green man...the eyes are the 4th dimension watching you the gate keeper of the next dimension Lucifer is supposedly this 4th dimension who fell and protects this dimension from getting into heaven .....Lucifer was the most beutiful angel who fell to become all of us .......

i am not a satanist i hate satanic sicko people i dont agree with that shit

i experienced something like that but it was like an "electrical" humming just for a for a couple seconds and then i left my body....
