I voted that all drugs should be legal, however I don't believe that should happen on the turn of a dime. The most reasonable way to go about this would be to stagger the legalization of different drugs over a period of time while developing comprehensive drug education programs.

maybe drugs should be made legal for medicinal uses.. not for any old regular joe who wants to get fucked up whenever they want.

problem is that there is not many valid medicinal uses for drugs that are currently scheduled..

they always have a weaker, less-effective and less-enjoyable version that they prescribe.

for example.. dxm and codeine. and adderall and meth.. and oxy/hydrocodone and heroin.. they put adulterants in them too..

i think it could be very dangerous allowing people access to (due to the legalization/decriminalization) hard drugs such as heroin and meth and shit like that..

not trying to argue with anyone but that's just my feelings. attack them if you want.

they are jackass and they don't prescribe them to anyone. Thats what the entire substance act is based on

who's going to determine if they are physiologically addictive?

alcohol is physiologically addictive..  should that be regulated by the government too?

i really dont think making drugs available to the masses is a good idea (not an attack at you omni just personal opinion)  for many obvious reasons.

i believe decriminalization of said substances might be a little more effective.. but it's illegal everywhere else in the world.. why should it be legal in the united states?  we are supposed to be a beacon of morality and truth for the entire world to follow :tongue: (sarcasm) but seriously.  it's just not going to happen.

plus i dont want most drugs to be legal.  then any dumbass motherfucker can do them and think they are the shit. instead of just us thinking we are the shit.

I just don't think drugs that are highly addictive should be legal. Especially because I don't see any real benefits to them.

All drugs should be legal. The people who want to consume them already do, for the most part. There may be a spike in use, but it would even out near current levels after a few months. I believe there would be fewer overdoses because the purity and doses would be heavily regulated. It would also cut down on organized crime. The drugs would also have high taxes attached to them, another benefit. Not to mention I don't think it's anyones business what people put into their bodies.

Not only do I believe that all drugs should be legal but I also believe that they should be provided by the government free of charge.
