Funny though that in real life I've seen hundreds of people's lives destroyed and not one, NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON benefit from meth use.

So you think you should play mother and take care of those people by throwing them in jail.

I think adults have a right to make stupid decisions and it's nobody else's fucking business.

My girlfriend used to do meth.
It made her stressed out and paranoid.
I told her to either quit that shit or move out.
She end up quitting the meth.

This whole debate, as I was expecting, is reminiscent of church people who want to foist their religion on you because they know better than you what's good for you. It's for your own good, you see.

Frankly, it's disgusting. Doubly so given that some ~25% (according to the poll) of Shroomerites fall into that busybody camp who can't keep out of other people's business and want others to live their lives like they do. :mad2:

Nobody is telling you or anyone what do to with their bodies, and no one has brought up the "my drug is better than yours" deal, so chill.

Well it's your choice to do it but I don't necessarily agree that something should be legal. I think making heroin illegal dissuades most people and the people that really want it do it. Legalization would possibly make people less informed about their choice to do a drug.

Nobody is telling anyone

I'm referring to the poll results showing ~25% of respondents want to throw the rest of us in jail if we use drugs they don't like.

Who are you to decide that people need to be dissuaded from anything? Their mother?

The only thing just laws should dissuade is one person hurting another person.

I would have changed the word ILLEGAL to REGULATED but that's just me. That way its pretty much legalized no matter which choice they choose

Well LSD and shrooms don't ruin lives like meth or heroin. I don't care if you choose to do it, but they have no benefits. (Alcohol does so thats a nonargument)

So you want uninformed 12 year olds with access to meth and heroin?! Being illegal causes you to evaluate your choice seriously. I don't agree tons of jail is the answer either though.

Many people (me for example) use meth and heroin without it "ruining" anything.

This is you projecting your prejudices and it's the hight of hypocrisy. It's no different than church people who want to keep LSD, shrooms, and weed illegal because they "ruin" your relationship with God.

Yeah but you are in the minority Diploid. You made a choice but LEGAL means 10 yr olds can do it too? Is that k with you? I thought shroomery people cared about proper understanding of what they were doing, maybe i was wrong.

So you want uninformed 12 year olds

Did you deliberately refuse to read the opening post and poll in order to be obtuse?

12 year olds? WTF?

BOTTOM LINE:

There should be no laws against doing whatever you want to do with yourself.
Laws are in place to protect one's rights from other people's interference.

Ok well what about the opposite? Well informed children? Who gets to draw the line between adults and children? We aren't addressing all the problems here.
