i find that ejaculatory orgasms are extremely depleting both emotionally and physically. when i realized that the momentary (albeit intense) pleasure wasn't worth the loss, i sought alternate methods.

i then found Mantak Chia's - Taoist Secrets of Love - Cultivating Male Sexual Energy. i have always found taoist teaching to be very practical so i gave it a read. it is exactly what i was looking for.

it teaches that at the point right before orgasm, instead of expelling the build up of energy down and out, you can draw it up your back and into different energy centers.

he also claims that with practice you can have "full-body orgasms" that are recharging and invigorating, but so far i have not experienced this. i'm not too concerned about that though, i am more than content how things work now(sexual pleasure that isn't centered around an orgasm, a great deal more control of my sexual energy, and feeling great afterwards).

also, this method isn't as harmful as complete abstinence is. you may have heard that masturbation will reduce your risk of prostate cancer, because it relieves pressure. unlike complete abstinence, you will release the pressure just in the opposite direction(inwards).
