Here is something I found one day at a Barnes and Noble while flipping through a UFO magazine they had in their store. We of course have no way to validate that any of the information is true, but its interesting none the less. What I like about this it has nothing to do with the Mayan Calendar; it stems from another source.
Psychedelics and 2012 Terrence Mckenna Quoted from 2012 The Return of Quetzalcoatl; Pinchbeck
Terrence Mckenna has claimed to have no prior knowledge to the Mayan Calendar end date in the 1970s when he proposed these ideas. Here is the actual Time Wave Zero software if you want to run it on your computer. there is a final release you can find online but it costs $19.99 Here is the free version ------------> http://www.jitrnizeme.cz/storage -------------------------------- Francis Crick(another psychedelic anomaly) Francis Crick was high as a kite on LSD when he figured out the double helix structure of DNA. Later, his role in the drug legalization movement inspired biochemist Richard Kemp to supply Britain with massive amounts of cheap LSD, until he was stopped in one of the largest drug busts in history. When asked about his drug use, Crick replied, "Print a word of it and I'll sue." Links------> Crick and LSD http://www.mayanmajix.com/art169 Crick interview about psychedelics http://www.intuition.org/txt/cri The Bust http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ope -------------------------------- Mayans ![]() - Wasson ; The Divine Mushroom of Immortality (Furst 188). ![]() Tlaloc the provident rain god which dates right back to the La Venta culture is aptly charged with creating mushrooms in a bolt of lightning the bringer of rain and also thefertilization of the earthmother bythe sky father. In a second myth, Quetzalcoatl, the fair-haired man-god, with eyes the colour of jade, ran through Mexico, the sacred mushrooms, teonanacatl , are supposed to have sprung from the blood of his cuts. He is also charged with creating the human race from bones taken in haste by Quetzalcoatl from the underworld and ground by the earth goddess Cichuacoatl, the Snake Woman, with blood from his penis. Quetzalcoatl or Serpent of Precious Feathers (also known as Kukulcan, Gucumatz and Votan) appears similarly in practically in all of the cultures of the precolumbian Mexico from the classical "theocratic" era of Teotihuacan through the Toltec transition to the later "militaristic" cultures. The form of the sky serpent is also common to the La Venta culture (1250 BC to 600 BC) and the Mayas. --------------------------- Mushroom spores will last forever in a vacuum at freezing temperatures. Is it possible they inoculated our planet from space? -------------------------------- Dr. Timothy Leary
------------------------ I also saw this the other day at the DMT-Nexus forums, and figured I might as well post it here. It is an account of somebody who when they smoke strong amounts of DMT has 2012 revelations.

UFOs in Earth's History
Originally from http://www.crystalinks.com/ufohi ![]() 7,000 B.C. - The Lolladoff plate, discovered in Nepal, appears to show a hovering disk-shaped object in the center and a small being, resembling an alien resembling an alien gray, beside it. The circular pattern is reminescent of the spiraling movement of consciousness - Golden Ratio - Sacred Geometry of creation. ------- ![]() This cave painting is c.10,000 BC and is from Val Camonica, Italy. It appears to depict two beings in protective suits holding strange implements. ------- ![]() 6000 BC from Tassili, Sahara Desert, North Africa. ------- ![]() This is an artistic reproduction of a relief found in a labyrinth on the island Jotuo in the Toengt'ing lake. An expedition took place in 1957 (two years before an earthquake in that region). The expedition was led by professor Tsj'i Pen-Lai. They found various reliefs showing "humans" in strange clothes which looked like astronaut suits (hose like objects attached to the clothes). They also found a painting which apparently resembled the solar system. The third and fourth circle (planet) were connected with a line. Also there were ten planets (excluding the sun as planet). This connects easily to the theories about Nibiru, planet X, etc. ------- ![]() This is a tapestry called Summer's Triumph It was created in Bruges in 1538 and presently resides at the Bayerisches National Museum. You can clearly see several disc shaped objects in the top of the tapestry. ------- ![]() In France there was a coin minted in 1680 that shows a hovering disc shaped UFO with what appears to be port holes or lights around the outer rim. Due to the fact that a coin was minted depicting this UFO. ------- ![]() In Egypt there exists a star clock for the Precession of the Equinoxes and an electric light bulb that dates to 2600 BC. An electric battery was discovered in a rock carbon dated approximately 500,000 years ago ------- ![]() 15th Century ![]() ------ ![]() This picture shows a UFO sighting over Hamburg, Germany The objects were described as 'two glowing wheels' - November 4, 1697 - Wheels - Spoked Wheels. ------ UFO'S in Religious Art ![]() In this painting found on a wood drawer from furniture kept at the Earls D'Oltremond, in Belgium, Moses is depicted receiving the tablets of the Ten Commandments, with "flaming horns." Several equally flaming objects are in the sky before him. The date and artist are unknown. ------- ![]() "The Baptism of Christ" A disk shaped object is shining beams of light down on John the Baptist and Jesus - Fitzwilliam Musuem, Cambridge, England - Painted in 1710 by Flemish artist Aert De Gelder. It depicts a classic, hovering, silvery, saucer shaped UFO shining beams of light down on John the Baptist and Jesus. What could have inspired the artist to combine these two subjects? -------- ![]() 17th century fresco of the crucifiction - Svetishoveli Cathedral in Mtskheta, Georgia. Note the two saucer shaped craft on either side of Christ. ------ "La Tebaide" ![]() ![]() Painted by Paolo Uccello - circa 1460-1465. The picture on the right shows a red saucer shaped UFO seen near Jesus. The painting hangs in the Academy of Florence. ------ ![]() Frescos throughout Europe which reveal the appearance of space ships in the skies including this painting of 'The Crucifixion' - painted in 1350. It seems to depict a small human looking man looking over his shoulder - at another UFO as if in pursuit - as he flies across the sky in what is clearly a space ship. The leading craft is decorated with two twinkling stars, one reminiscent of national insignia on modern aircraft. This paintng hangs above the altar at the Visoki Decani Monestary in Kosovo, Yugoslavia. ![]() ![]() ------- ![]() "Glorification of the Eucharist" was painted by Bonaventura Salimbeni in 1600. ![]() ------- MARY ![]() A fourteenth century fresco of the Madonna and Child depict on the top right side the image of a UFO hovering in the distance. A blow up of this fresco reveals tremendous details about this UFO including port holes. It seems to indicate a religious involvement between UFO's and the appearance of the Christ Child. ![]() This painting is called "The Madonna with Saint Giovannino". It was painted in the 15th century by Domenico Ghirlandaio (1449-1494) and hangs as part of the Loeser collection in the Palazzo Vecchio. Above Mary's right shoulder is a disk shaped object. Below is a blow up of this section and a man and his dog can clearly be seen looking up at the object. ------- "The Assumption of the Virgin" ![]() Painted circa 1490 by an unknown artist. Saucer shaped "clouds" intrigue modern ufologists. Could so many have appeared in the sky at one time? Or, are the hat shaped UFOs depicted so numerous here to -punctuate- certain events as being particularly holy? ------- The Life Of Mary - 14th Century Tapestries ![]() 1330 ![]() 'The Magnificent' - Notre-Dame in Beaune, Burgandy ![]() The painting above was done by Carlo Crivelli (1430-1495) and is called "The Annunciation with Saint Emidius" (1486) and hangs in the National Gallery, London. A disk shaped object is shining a pencil beam of light down into Mary's crown chakra. ------- ![]() The picture above depicts Jesus and Mary on what appear to be lenticular clouds. The painting is entitled "The Miracle of the Snow" and was painted by Masolino Da Panicale (1383-1440) and hangs at the church of Santa Maria Maggiore, Florence, Italy.

So Pinchbeck is a source quoting McKenna who believed the world would end in 1971, but didn't.
McKenna was a student of ethno-pharmacology who went to the Amazon and knew nothing about the Mayans? Um, OK. He later back-fitted data to attempt to make his TimeWave Zero fit, which even McKenna (and the software developer) later admitted that it had no predictive power.

Most ALL of these images have been explained IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THE TRUTH and not fantasy. Do some research.
The UFO in the upper right of the Madonna image, for example, is a crown descending towards Jesus. Even twisting your imagination to THE EXTREME, not a single 2D image points to an extraterrestrial source.

*Not all experiments work, and Terrence admits it *He didn't know *nothing* about the mayans, what he didn't know was the mayan date converted to the gregorian date *I also agree that Time Wave Zero is not accurate. I still find it interesting. Edited by Rebirtha (09/07/07 03:08 PM)

Please show me the TRUTH because I AM INTERESTED IN THE TRUTH. I wouldn't call it FANTASY either. At the worst I would call it bad speculation of 20 or so paintings that show flying saucers. So help m e find the TRUTH or atleast point me in some direction, ANY direction regarding these paintings. I can't find anything about Jesus and his dog looking at the crown floating in the sky. Especially if you have any info on this 1710 painting of Christ's Baptism, I would love to know. I'm having a hard time finding any info about it being something othe than a UFO on the internet and don't know what books might say that its not an extraterrestrial ship. Haha calm down, I don't have to twist my imagination to think that they look like flying saucers I am however twisting my imagination to the thought that you have to twist your imagination to think that this looks like a flying saucer. It looks like a flying saucer and I don't know how you could say its anything else unless there is somewhere documented where the painter says his intentions.

Question for you (without doing research!): The term "flying saucer" was coined by the press after Kenneth Arnold spotted some unusual aerial objects in 1948.
What shape was the objects?

Neat. But it doesn't mean anything. The funny thing is that I knew it was coined by Kenneth Arnold; you are talking to somebody very interested in FLYING SAUCERS. I call it a flying saucer because I live in a time after the term was coined and the fact that it looks like a saucer that flys. If you know something about these paintings which you have read somewhere or seen a documentary on it then tell me so I can read it or watch it. I can't find any information on it. Please, I would love to know where your knowledge on these paintings stem from. I'm twisting my imagination to believe that you have any good evidence on this. Do you really know anything about this? PLEASE DONT AVOID THIS QUESTION Edited by Rebirtha (09/07/07 03:34 PM)

I am getting to that. The point being that the 'original' flying saucers were not saucer-shaped at all, but winged (probably actually Canadian Geese flying north).
They were called saucers because 'they skipped like a saucer' NOT BECAUSE OF THEIR SHAPE. So to say an object in a picture has the traditional saucer shape does not really 'fly'.

Thats still in debate. " "Arnold, a recreational private pilot, was returning home from a flight in Wyoming when he received a radio signal requesting assistance in the Yakima, Washington area. It seems there was a missing troop transport and a aerial search party was being assembled. At 3:00 p.m., flying at 9,000 feet, a bright flash of light caught Arnold's attention. Turning to look our of the side window of his airplane, Arnold was amazed to see 9 saucer shaped objects flying in formation. Thinking they were some sort of military aircraft, he watched them intently as they bobbed, weaved, and darted about flying at an amazingly high rate of speed. What fascinated Arnold the most was the fact that the flying objects had no tail, but rather were round, saucer shaped, metallic and highly polished." But the general concensus when you say flying saucer is that its a saucer that flys, despite its origin. I'm not going to argue about stupid shit like "oh I said flying saucer" I would however would love to see what you know about those paintings, that I would love to argue about.

Wiki: Arnold described the objects' shape as reminiscent of crescents or flying wings...
Seems you missed the point. The objects in your paintings are NOT crescents, but discs and thus look NOTHING like modern 'saucers'.

Kenneth Arnold did NOT coin the term.
Here is what you need to read: UFOs and Art. Was quite easy to find for a 'researcher'.

First of all thank you for the link.
But from what I've gathered for almost 90% of them the writer says thats its not a UFO because whether it is the dove of spirit or chariot of fire, or whatever the spaceship looking object is supposed to represent, that it is depicted similarly or maybe slightly different in other paintings so it can't be a spaceship. But if you look at the other paintings they seem just as strange. What am I supposed to think, oh they aren't spaceships they are balls of light with angels in them that talk? What I'm saying is that now in this era we are having people having revelatory stories from things that come down from the sky and giving knowledge about the future and spreading the message of love and bringing us back to our spirit lives. Sounds very similar to what went on when Jesus was alive. The 2012 event is humans ascending to a higher dimensional level full of love and light to live in 1000 years of peace (which is talked about in the book of Revelations) Painting 1 ![]() So its not a spaceship but "It is but the announcement to the shepherds, as told in St. Luke's Gospel: «...and there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field keeping watch over their flock by night. And lo, an angel of the Lord come upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear ye not: for behold!, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you was born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord...»" I wouldn't say that this really means anything other than they depict the lord as a spaceship looking object that talks to them. That doesn't really debunk anything. Because there is a story in the bible about somebody talking to a sheperd coming from the sky, its not a spaceship? This is the mystery of the whole thing, what came down from the sky and talked to them? Angels? Why did they depict them as spaceships? What are we supposed to make of it when the Bible describes chariots of fire coming down from the sky and then artists depict some as chariots and some as spaceships? So when biblical paintings look like spaceships, somebody will say ohh those aren't spaceships, look here in this depiction it looks like a chariot of fire coming down to Earth like we read in the Bible. I saw the number 42 on literally a good twenty license plates in the span of five minutes, watching traffic pass by while waiting for the bus. Jesus Christ, I feel like I'm in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
