There is only now, and there will always only be now. As Eckhart Tolle said: "Nothing ever happened in the past or future."

"A warrior is a hunter. He calculates everything. That's control. Once his calculations are over, he acts. He lets go. That's abandon. A warrior is not a leaf at the mercy of the wind. No one can push him; no one can make him do things against himself or against his better judgment. A warrior is tuned to survive, and he survives in the best of all possible fashions." ― Carlos Castaneda

A related question: do things that we see far away exist in the present, or only in the past when their lightwaves were emitted?

our perception exists, but it may not be real or accurate.
in the inevitable future,
what we cannot predict will occur as well as what we can predict.
many things hold their form predictably.
that does not make them more or less real before they can be directly experienced.

what we will experience in some future time depends a lot on where we will be standing, which depends quite a bit on where we are standing or sitting right now.

when we perceive that experience it will be existing,
when we perceive the prediction of it, the prediction exists.

I mentioned it because according to Einstein's theory of relativity, what one observer claims is the present may be in the past of another observer, and in the future of a third. Even when all three observers are chatting with each other in the same place and at the same moment. The only condition is that the stuff that these three observers disagree about must be outside of their shared light-cone (which implies "far away" since light travels so fast).

We can predict the state of things that are outside our light-cone to a degree, since much of it is influenced by events that are within our own past light-cone. But it is also influenced by events that are unknowable for us. So in a sense, the distant present is more unpredictable than the future within our own light-cone.

As for the original question my answer is this: various futures exist subject to various conditions, and it's impossible to predict exactly which conditions will be true and which ones will not. Even the existence of "the" present is conditional: the present moment that I experienced an hour ago was conditioned on immediate causes that are absent in this present moment which I am experiencing as I am writing this. Both exist conditionally, just like everything else that exists, but the conditions are different.

Tomorrow never really arrives. Tomorrow ends up being today. So I'm going have to say no.

the totality is the same accross any three times (with different relationships between some of the parts of the totality - a few of which we can point out and discuss)
maybe the question is, "is totality a thing of more than one time?"

some parts of totality are not in our sensory range and only a few fit in our limited context for modelling. Some that expired will soon become detectible as wakes after some distant action.

as for 3 conversing beings existing in 3 different times at the same time I think that stretches the meaning of "same time". but it may be consistent with the meaning of conversation.

Well I know pretty much everyone will disagree with me...but yes, the future does exist only not at this time. To someone outside of time, the future and past exist.

Experience does exist outside of time.

I am not extremely well studied in physics, but as far as I know, this is a meaningless statement, as it is not possible to exist independently of time.

All this states is that three distinct observers perceive phenomenon differently, due to the nature of space/time. The eternal, present moment still exists. Within that moment, one person observes a phenomenon, and another observe hasn't yet observed it. "Past" and "future" are simply mental constructs.

4) We need a smaller, less-intrusive government.

Perhaps I should have used "space-time" instead of just "time"

yeah
in a dimension which that accommodates time as randomly as ours accommodates length and height and width, many time extents and directions are simultaneously available.
ours may be inside of that type of dimension.
the dynamics of it are very difficult to discuss.
we have no good way of seeing time that runs in directions as variable as a sphere.

Physics is just a model, a practical model, but one that is continually being proved wrong. Quantum physics and mechanics is so far flawless but sooner or later flaws will be shown. Unless a model is based upon strict axioms (e.g. fundamental systems of logics such as maths), it will NEVER fit perfectly into reality, human intellect, creativity and understanding simply are not good enough to construct such a model. LET ALONE human perception and interpretation accurate or real enough. All judgments drawn about the nature of reality come through our own perception of it, either directly or indirectly. Now if under these circumstances we cannot come close complete understanding then how cans such a statement as 'as it is not possible to exist independently of time' possibly be credible beyond the current model of our physical reality, which is in my opinion limited to the infinite degree. Of course time itself may very well just me a human model…

Does time exist? Does the present exist? Does the future exist? I don't know and neither does any quantum mechanic playing with strings and calculus. "What is" is an endless concept, enjoy it, consider it, ponder it, but never assume you have grasped it because you have not. That is how i look at things anyway
