Cutting, Am i emo!?

Okay, im ready and willing to catch shit from everyone, and i feel like i deserve it, I just got soo pissed off at the world, my day was going horribly, and was making a sandwitch, i looked at the knive, and slit my upper arm. i feel nausious like im about to pass out, i Feel shitty that i didt it and i hate my life, i never cry and im balling my eyes out right now, It hurts, ill Send photos for thos of you who just wish to see gore.
For anyone else, please i need some guidance, i feel so alone and worthless., thanks guys. for those who love gore,, little gorey, not 2 bad.
Hmm, keep in mind, If this needs to b in a different section, move it there, but i feel this can be in the pub

I think if you were emo you would be doing it for attention. I'm not sure whats going on Bro but you should maby look into anti-depressants. Talk to some friends Bro, I have lots of depression problems normally at night when I'm not around my friends as much. Just get on the phone and talk with some friends it helps. Take care. Also... smart move not putting this in OTD.

i feel for you comrade, but i'm gonna speak my truth to you.

if everything is going this bad, you have to figure out a way to at least try to make it better, it isn't just going to disappear on it's own. TAKE SOME ACTION. talk to friends, see a doctor, really examine what it is about your life that you dislike. realize people have it far worse, and try to make the best of everything you've got.

i know it's probably much easier said than done, but thats as good of advice as i can give you. hang strong, and never ever give up

Cutters are generally addicted to the release of endomorphines or whatever it is that gets released in your body (or brain is it?) when you get hurt.
But how the hell did you start cutting if you arent emo??

Thanks man, See, Im head over heels in love, And I really never cut myselve, but i just grabbed it and started hacking away, by the time i stopped it was dropping blood on the floor, i was disgusted by what i did and dont nkow why i did it, its bandages now, and hurts, the bleeding stopped thank god, it definitly looks like ill need stickes, but if its not bleeding, i wont mess with it.
it was a serraded knive it cut me clean and fast,
Man thank you for a little advice, and I do appreciate it.
This workd is lonely, but man thats life.
Thanks again, im going to lay down and try to sleep , when i wake up tomorrow will be a new day.

Man, what gets me is i just zoned out and snapped back to a bloody reality,
This has nothing to do with my physical or mental wellbieng as well.
It is subject pertaining to the stress of every day life, and the ways people use to release that stress.
If i wanted attention ide Go to the er.. then looney bin..
Ide get free pills and food. I dont want attention.
But at the same time i dont begg for isolation.
Thank you all, even those who dont see eye to eye with me. for youre input, this is what i wanted and i appreciate it more than you could know.

My brother used to cut himself...

I dont know what to say... it sucks... try not to do it, its not going to lead to anything good. What you need is a long term solution. Try to keep a clear and logical mind and pursue a long term solution.

My advice is to work on finding your "center". Try meditation, yoga, drawing/painting, anything that helps you to feel grounded and whole. Maybe even try out a martial arts class... explain to the instructor whatever you are comfortable with and work your stress and hurt out through physical activity. Pay no attention to what anybody else thinks of you...

If I were in your shoes I would take a really long warm shower or bath. While you are in the water, try imagining the troubles of the day washing down the drain. I know it sounds kind of corny, but if you believe it, it can help.

After a week of trying to find your center... If you still feel bad enough to hurt yourself, talk to a doctor or professional who can offer more advice. But know that good vibes will come your way sooner or later!

Thank you, Im sorry to hear that about youre bro. I know how it feels to watch someone you love hurt themselves.
I regret what i did now, but the cut is still there.
That only comes to tell you, think before you act, and learn from my mistake, if i can keep 1 person from doing that shit, just becuase youre having a bad day.. then i will feel good.
I was stupid, and only thinking of myselve. You speak the truth, i need a long term solution. and i plann on going on a very long journey into my mind here soon as these cambodians show up, cant wait , then, ill think about my life, and think about what more a man my age can do with it.

my only problem right now with that, is i can clearly see a small bone, and dark globby masses that i think are cut viens.
It took 15 mins to stop the bleeding and it will quite literally squirt if i ball my Fist, i have it sutured with pressure and it clotted.
now all i can do is wait a few days and not wash my right arm.
( eeww)

No, you're not emo, you're just stupid. You did it so you could tell people about how you cut yourself over this girl that you really like. Do you want to be "emo?" If so, this may be one step towards future effort to create this "emo" self image.

Something I noticed about kids that cut themselves in highschool, they always wanted EVERYONE to know about it. They advertised it. This leads me to believe that this is all about getting attention.

You wanted our attention, you probably want the girl you likes attention, and this is your attempt to get our attention.
