universal orchestra?

i was tripping last year and peaking pretty tough, it was great, i couldnt move, speak, or even see, it was one of those really intense peaks, the kind that when your downing and actually regain some sort of conscousness you say, "what the fuck just happened for the last two hours,'' anyway it was one of those, but during the peak i remember very loud music, there was alot of things i was hearing, but in the backround of my mind i heard this song, it was like somekind of flute or something. it was a very ancient, very eastern song, and when i was coming down i remember i could still hear it, i told myself then, during the trip, that it was the music of my soul and the universe that all beings are in harmony with it. as i came down more it got less audible until i couldnt hear it anymore. whatever it was, it stayed with me. sometimes now when i smoke really good nuggs and get really stoned i hear it now and then, barely audible. has anyone else ever experienced anything like this, or is it just one of those trip things in my own mind?

I heard music in my head at one point the first time I did shrooms. Nothing epic though, sounded like slow moving bell chords. Reminded me of radiohead actually. I'd love to experience something like what you were saying though, sounds beautiful.

its not really the same thing but sometimes when I am listening to particularly "epic" music, my mind does a whole show of the universe and all of its creatures playing the music.  Gets pretty weird.  And this happens when I am stoned :laugh:.

I have heard bands briefly play before, good music unbeliviable solos that would make jimi cringe, but only for like 2 seconds at at time and then they fade away. Leaving me with the memory of it though. I think I know a way for you to manipulate these types of sounds, if you play guitar, their is a guitar called a resonator, any resonator will do. They are designed for country music, but play them with a pick very fast, and you can hear a hum of a high pitched flute/voice that is unbeliavabley real and spiritual. The sound you get, I have no idea if it is real or not.

I can remember one time a while back, i decided to meditate.
Until that point, i didn't meditate very often..
It was without the aid of any foreign chemical.

I was alone, and it was late, nothing was running, so meditation felt like a good thing to do.
I sat upon my bed, found a suitable position, and began breathing deeply and rythmically.
After sort of re-experiencing my day and letting it go, i felt my self moving onwards like a train, i didn't know where i was going but was certainly locked on target.
Suddenly i heard something of a whisper, from some kind of bells. Soon after they reemerged with almost hyper-real intensity, it struck me, nothing i've ever heard the likes of. I was startled, and opened my eyes.
I thought to myself: "that was really amazing!"
I was pretty happy, but curious afterwards.

Since then i attempted several times to "summon the bells."
It has worked...i often hear them before i fall asleep.
I've also heard really neat bassy noises, and some wind instruments. I feel that i can form the sounds how i wish, for fleeting moments.
Maybe i'm a little psycho, maybe i'm not, but its very cool, imo.

you probably didn't know it but you were extremely close to an astral projection which can be achieved quite easily by some people without drugs. I meditate pre astraly every night and I often hear birds chirping or music playing, or wind like that of a hurricane. When I project back into my physical body the visuals, as well as thoughts I would say are about the equivalent of a week level 2 trip. I haven't done mushrooms since I have become aware of this ability, but I could imagine how much easier it would be to project, especially the subtle body. some the different sort of post trip effects from the Faq I have felt after this projection, but I may mention they are all positve after effects, there is no comedown from this.
