I didn't want to post untill I knew he was going to be ok..
I really felt bad for what happened to the guy...I mean, he is a teacher and a really good friend as far as I am concerned and can't wait to see him post again..

I've never really even chatted with him but I can just tell he is one of those true people...Livin life to the fullest.

That is the BEST CASE SCENARIO, considering the first post in this thread. Of course his heart is damaged, he had a HEART ATTACK. Not fair at all, just the way it works.

In spite of that bit of bad news, I'm SURE this community is breathing a collective sigh of relief.

I'm sure I'm not the only one, selfishly waiting to see the NEXT Chinacat72 thread, about the FAT trip he almost had.

Get well soon, man. Keep resting yourself!

Cassie,Geo and all I can say one can still do quite a bit with a damaged heart. It depends largely on where the damage occured and the attitude of the patient.
I lost 57% of my heart muscle during my incident. One would expect to be severely disabled by such a loss. Yet I continue to function very well for a healthy 48 yr old man much less one who's body is as torn up as mine.
7 major reconstructive surgeries on my knee
ruptured appendix which was attached to my liver, with gangrene and perotinitis
severe chronic chemical exposure to acidic Ethylene Dichloride
botched angio with triple bypass and 57% heart muscle loss
severed achilles tendon and over 50% blood loss.

Today I framed a room in my shop, dug 100' of trench and wired my greenhouse for 220v, cut 1/2cord of firewood for the greenhouse and split it.
Hear that Ryan? git up an walk it off :dancing: Ya can't let a lil near death experience slow ya down. Think of like God's "thumbprint on yer heart" and carry on. Remember though you gotta rest up and heal but not let the unpleasent chesticle sensations you may have for a while scare ya too much. work slowly back into some exercise and soon you will be right back on top :rockon:.
