I contemplated this idea at length the day that I received this news, but ultimately I feel that involving money in this manner may not be the appropriate course of action.  In my opinion, I think it would make more sense (and dare I say Ryan might actually prefer it) if we were to gather donations in order to funnel them into the Rex Foundation, or some sort of music-related or consciousness-expanding organization that could put the money towards opening the minds of the greater society on Ryan's behalf.  With that being said, I am not sure that money should even be involved at all - though indeed it could help brighten the spirits of our recovering brother.  If indeed flowers become the choice method of appreciation, we will need Cassie to approve this idea by providing a delivery route before we start pooling together money (she has been contacted).

I just want chinacat to be well :heart:

edit: we are talking about a minimal ammount of money. most members would gladly spend $5 less on smokes for a week to send it to him.

flowers for a guy? i wouldn't want em if it was me in that bed. to remind me of the shroomery, i'd want a laptop. but i'd settle for anything i could see. something colourful that chrissie can print out would be good. a card, a picture, a logo, a poster. nothing that'd make all the nurses stare at him any more than they're gonna already.


it's awesome that he's awake and alert. as someone said, what a trip! tell us a message through chrissie, chinacat! whadda ya want? pizza?
