I'm actually glad you guys bumped this, because I thought about this thread recently.  When I made this thread, I didn't know of any way to seriously contact Chinacat other than sending him a PM.  So when Ripple replied with the above quote, I was surprised.  I wondered why Ripple thought that I could actually find the illusive Chinacat.  Then recently someone tipped me off to the fact that he's still on AIM from time to time.  So that must have been how Ripple thought that I could actually wrangle in this rare beast.
