Its been about 3 or 4 weeks since i've run out and frequency of my lucid dreams has been steadily declining ever since...

i dont know its like sometimes i get interesting dreams every night sometimes i get none for a month, its addictive and its discomforting when it stops!

Alternatively take a large dose of dextromethorphan hydrobromide 120mg+ before bed... it'll affect your dreams, dunno if it'll work on you.

why do we go to sleep? i am for one, not going to sleep tonight.

its all in the mind, the only reason i would go sleep is to get comfortable and lazy and jus mybe cuddle with some hot lass next to you other than that sleep is waste of time

Hmmmm, really? Many people find it hard to fall asleep on DXM, and many reports suggest the hangover (if existent) is worstened by going to bed before you come down. I certainly wouldn't suggest a big dose before bed...though 120mg is actually quite a small dose (big compared to the recommended medical dose, if that's what you meant).

Though I agree that going asleep in a more disassociated mindstate can lead to some pretty vivid and interesting dreams.

Yeah, I suggested on the low end in case you aren't used to it, go ahead for 300+ if you like.

As far as getting to sleep, what you do is tire yourself out till the point that your about to pass out. Take the DXM, then go to sleep.

You'll wake up with a very odd feeling to say the least...

Weed killed my dreaming. I don't really miss them though. Psychedelics are better than dreams.

Whatever the heck "astral dreams" are may be your connotation, but clinically, I have known many people whose suppressed dream-life was restored to glorious technicolor, vibrant emotion and enduring memory (should they wish to record them for analysis) AFTER they finally kicked the cannabis addiction. The literature pretty much substantiates this, but, of course, there are always exceptions. Humans are not machines after all.

for a long time I also thought cannabis was stealing my dreams. however, the regular intake of psychedelics slowly started changing this, and for the last few months dreams have grown increasingly complex and vivid.
Yesterday I slept for two hours, then was up for about 3 hours during which I smoked 2 joints and when I went to bed I fell straight into lucid dreaming. It even scared me a little. Super trippy. I don't know if it's the fact that I've been taking mushrooms every week, but every now and then I get plenty of visuals just on cannabis.

oh yes, I forgot.
I'm also taking ginkgo daily and sometimes guarana extract. I think this also contributes to the increase of visions and dreams.

Personally, I put away childish things when I stopped being a child. I seek clarity, memory and the acquistion of abiding peace, not drug dependence. Dreams are essential for optimal mental health, not cannabis. I used cannabis - mostly hashish - from 1969 to 1979. Way too much valuable lifetime wasted even though in that time frame I finished high school, college, masters degree and began my doctorate.
