Swami comes clean

I have been totally avoiding a MAJOR problem for years! My resistance was enormous and even thinking about dealing with this would give me severe headaches and I would get physically ill.

Finally, it was nearly impossible to put it off any longer. I stopped whining and ducking the issue and put the full force of my energy and focus into it - and guess what? It was no picnic, but was not the impossible Gordian Knot that I perceived it to be. The wasted years spent avoiding was a hundred or a thousand times more devastating and wasteful of time and energy than facing this hurdle.

You would have thunk that I would have learned this lesson by now, but am still attempting to become a mature adult.

Summation: tackle your biggest problems early and head-on and life will be a whole lot easier.

Note to gossip hounds: the actual issue is private and unimportant to this community, so DON'T ASK!

I know you said you wouldn't tell what it was, but I really can't help but wonder what could be so severe that it could make you physically ill just from thinking about it.

Maybe it has more to do with the time frame... are we talking like, years and years of procrastinating on this?
