Re: Drawring's of my UFO encounter [Re: Phluck]

You're right but my point is:

If you look at the universe from a 3rd person perspective based on current science it is highly likely we have been visited.

Oh, really. Then why did you post this? You obviously wanted some reaction. If you do not expect belief then why did you give me a pissy rating for disagreeing with you? Your statement implies that you are ambivalent to belief or lack off belief, but obviously you feel otherwise.

WINNER!

I understood Hue's point completely. It is not sensible to draw conclusions from what you see alone.

My point is the conclusions were drawn afterwards from years of research as stated and just my personal opinion. Thus the poor rating is in relation to his lack of comprehension.

The book is The Demon Haunted World by Carl Sagan. Yes, it takes a skeptical approach to UFOs and a few other subjects, but it is very interesting and Sagan makes you think, he's a great writer.

Anyway if you'll read it feel free to recommend one to me.

"The Demon Haunted World" is a great book. Sagan definitively debunks alien visitation myths. Sagan was a proponent of extraterrestrial life. He believed that the occurance of other life in the Universe was not just likely, but inevitable. He also understood several realities like the speed of light limitation and the vast distances involved precluding visits by alien races.

In your post you said I lacked comprehension. What comprehension do you possess that you cannot explain to me. If you cannot see holes in your own logic you can't possibly see any holes in mine. I love the "years of research" reference...that you didn't explain. A common trick to decieving others is to imply deep knowledge or research you have conducted that is so obvious you will not explain it to others. As if saying "if you are so dense I will not even try to explain it". In your writing you use many devices intended to decieve, and not enlighten us. You respond with anger instead of logic and good judgement whenever you are questioned. This also speaks of deception.

Speed of light limitation. That is based on human technology. Humans have not been around in our universe very long at all. If a species was a million years advanced I'm sure they could find a way. Theres so many other possiblities when it comes to travel, try watching star trek. That alone can throw out 10-20 ideas that may be possible to an advanced species.

"If you cannot see holes in your own logic you can't possibly see any holes in mine"

That statement is pathetic, I'd love to see you try and back that up (dig deeper). I already said I understood your logic (that is you should not always believe what the eye sees alone). Then you claim my research is a trick! I'm not going to explain again what I already have. Look at my old threads and you will see I spent many many hours explaining why I came to my conclusions. Mainly old battles with Swami! You should change your name to Swami2 or The Swarmi coalition lol. Why does my thread offend you so much? You didn't have to read it! I don't know what you want me to say. I think you're just turning into a battle of last word winner!

I have always stood out for the truth wether or not this society wants to shun me into a corner I don't care. I say what I see and don't believe in with holding information because a proportion does not accept it. Fear of ridicule is the one thing that has kept this phenomena a secret for so long.

I simply don't care if you think I lied because I know I didn't. I told my story, believe or disbelieve I do not care. All that interests me is the way and why people respond like this when, aliens are thrown into the equation.

"Why does my thread offend you so much"
That is the funny thing. I am not offended. If you want to drown in ignorance be my guest...but you do care about being believed or you would not be so angry. Name calling belies anger....you called me Swami2...hilarious, but I don't think Swami wants to be related.

"All that interests me is the way and why people respond like this when, aliens are thrown into the equation."

Because there is much scientific fact refuting it, and known fraud endorsing it. To project what technology we may have in a million years is sci-fi. The speed of light limitation stands as an immovable wall whether you like it or not.

"try watching star trek"

Great science resource!

How did you "research" that aliens exist, are interested in space travel, and have broken the speed-of-light limitations? I have read EVERY book in the public library on UFOs and see nothing even remotely convincing.

Thank you for extending the hand of friendship and understanding. Now I think we all know where you are coming from. What does dying have to do with it? Having prejudice about the existence of alien visitation does not quite qualify as bigotry. I don't think I'll be getting that call from the ACLU anytime soon.
